El Charro-South Main is a popular Mexican restaurant with several locations in Harrisonburg. The portions are plentiful, and every dish option is amazing, making it a great choice for dining with friends or family. The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and has ample seating. The service is excellent, with friendly and efficient staff. Customers can enjoy a variety of Mexican dishes, including burritos, enchiladas, and more. The restaurant also offers close, free parking for its guests. The atmosphere feels authentic, and the chips and salsa are considered to be some of the best in the area. The restaurant has a wide selection of menu options, making it a good place for lunch or dinner. Although the food is good, it may not be as authentic as a taco truck, but the quality remains consistent over the years. The atmosphere can be a little loud, and sometimes there is a wait, but the overall experience is positive. Prices have increased but are still reasonable, and the restaurant is kid-friendly with kids menus and chairs. Overall, El Charro-South Main is an excellent choice for those seeking a delicious Mexican meal in a comfortable, lively setting.
