The food has always been fresh, cheap, and delicious. Fresh food that leans more heavily on good ingredients than spices (not that they don’t use spices of course). Very friendly staff. Portions so large that when me and my wife get takeout i have to buckle the bag in the car seat or it’ll topple over. The most consistent quality I’ve ever seen over the course of many years. Best flan ever. I recommend the mojarra frita.
Absolutely delicious!! I walked in and asked the gentleman at the counter what was good. He ran through a few basic things and then got really excited about a dish. I only caught chicken, cabbage, and plantains but he was so passionate about it that I ordered it. Turns out it was the tajadas con pollo and it was delicious. Very fresh and flavorful. The portion size for the price was excellent. I will definitely be back to try more food next time I'm in town
