My husband and I are on vacation and we were looking for seafood. Bubba's was open on a Monday and on our way back to the hotel. He had Bubba's Platter with a little of everything, he loved the shrimp, oysters and flounder. I had the clam strip with shrimp, Cole slaw and green beans, total 40$. It was delicious, so good we ordered to go. The bubba sauce is very tasty too! I would like to suggest crab cakes a la carte!

Good food, good prices. We weren't sure what to expect after talking with someone who thought we wanted an upscale restaurant. If you are looking for a fancy seafood restaurant on the water, this is not it. This is in a strip mall. There was a sign out front with daily specials, $10 including drink. Inside, they had a large board with great variety of choices, which were reasonably priced. You order at the counter, get your own beverage, choose your own seats, then your food is brought to the table. There are two dining areas, one has a fun large mural where it looks like you're on a dock looking out at some work boats. Two of us chose the shrimp burger with steamed shrimp (you could choose fried shrimp) and two of us had the fried catfish bites/basket. They all came with delicious fries. We all enjoyed the food. We really liked the variety to choose from. I like when I go to someplace new and there are a lot of locals patronizing the establishment. This was nothing fancy, just good food. We will go back.

At first, placing my order, was a little aggressive from the person at the register, she seemed on defense, until I reassured her I was not there to make her have a miserable day.I had never eaten here, I was simply asking a question. I only ordered the Soup..
It was alright.

This is one our favorite places in Gloucester. It’s great food, but also very affordable. The shrimp is available steamed, which my wife prefers. Multiple kinds of fish are available. My favorite is the catfish. Tuesday is for tacos, but those are inexpensive every day, and huge and delicious. You might want to bring some cash for the tip jar: you can’t yet include a tip with a credit card payment.

Parking: Big shopping center parking lot with more than enough!

Stopped here on vacation, we had shrimp, clam strips, catfish, hush puppies. All were terrific, arrived at table fresh and hot. Atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, themed but not pretentious at all, obviously a favorite of locals
