I love this little deli and the mall it is in. My only complaint is that they don't have corned beef sandwiches, but they allow you to order custom sandwiches - so I ordered their pastrami on rye and it was delicious.I was late in picking the meal up, yet when I got home, the sandwiches were still warm to my delight. The pastrami was nice and tender, didn't tear the rye bread apart and had the perfect amount of brown mustard.I am looking forward to trying other sandwiches...
Ethel's is outrageously, stupendously expensive and overpriced for what you receive.$20+ for a sandwich and fries is robbery. Is it good? Yes, but it certainly isn't $20+ good. It is also not very consistent, sometimes it's good, and other times it's mediocre which isn't acceptable for the prices you pay. The first time I went I had the best French dip I've ever had in my entire life, it was so good I went back the next day and ordered the same...
The hostess greeted us with the friendliest smile. Talked me through the menu of all the wonderful choices. We got between breakfast and lunch and this was the perfect time since there was light flow. My son orders Door Dash through here all the time and was eager for me to try it. I ordered the Cubano with a side of fries and it was made to perfection. It's a lot of food, so we ordered takeout. There is indoor seating as well as outdoor. It seems to be a neighborhood favorite...
