Ambience, quality of food and hospitality are awesome. Only complain I have about the portions of servings especially appetizers. For example, Chicken Sequawa, excellent item and the appetizers called “shareable appetizers “ and the price of that is $16.99 and it came with 6 small pieces of grill chicken. No doubt about the teste. I was expecting at least fill up the box you are delivering with. It’s half filled. I called restaurant and suggested to change the box size or fill up at least so that I don’t fill the box is half empty.

Amazing and elegant place, the food was 100% authentic and everything was just perfect. The service was exceptional from the host to the waitress nothing but happy to be serving you. Anita was very nice and made sure that I was taken cared for at all times. It is a must if you live in the Haymarket area!

This place far exceeded our expectations. From the outside, I thought it was going to be a mid-level chain restaurant of some sort. However, it is a full sit-down service place, and the service was great - fast and friendly.
The food was great, including the lunch-special tray that I ordered, which as a large portion of the main dish and a bunch of side items that were are very good as well. The spice level was spot-on for the ratings supplied, which is hard to find around this area.

This was our first time here. The dining area is very peaceful and comfortable. The waitress was very attentive even with other tables. The waitress also gave us great recommendations for food to eat since it was our first time. We tried the chicken tiki masala, the royal butter chicken, the thamel chicken sizzler, and the chicken momo with soup. The portions are medium sized and are very filling. I highly recommend coming here if you’re looking to expand your pallet or eat savory food.
For spice level, medium is the way to go if you like it spicy and mild has a hint of spice if you don’t like it spicy.

This restaurant has the smallest portion sizes I’ve ever seen. The provided picture is $35 of food.
The pictured drink costs $6. On the menu it showed a much larger drink.
This is a very low value restaurant. Because of that I think there are much better options in the immediate and surrounding areas. I’ve tried all Indian restaurants in Gainesville and Haymarket, and this is the one I recommend the least.
Food was good, not amazing, but good. Well seasoned. It’s just low value (high price for a small amounts of food).

Himalayan Grill felt like home away from home. The food tasted fresh and full of flavor, just like back in Nepal. The samosa chaat, puri, and chicken chowmein were all so good. The people were warm and welcoming, and the place had that simple, homely vibe. Definitely going again.

This place is GREAT! The family that works there provides excellent customer service and are all so friendly. The food is really good too. We always get the butter chicken and naan but they make great recommendations of things for us to try if we ask them for suggestions. We go at least a couple times a month.

The food was excellent and the staff very accommodating. I was traveling with a handicapped man who decided he didn't feel well enough to get out of the car. The hostess allowed me to take a menu outside to him. He made his selection (the mixed vegetables, mildly spicy). I placed his order, returned the menu and e were on our way in 10 minutes. The food was packaged very nicely. It didn't spill or leak and he said it was excellent.

Right, so here’s the thing. You walk into this place expecting something rather special because, apparently, the internet has decided that this is the culinary equivalent of the Mona Lisa. The hype suggested that angels themselves would descend with trays of Michelin-starred morsels. Instead, what you get is regular food.
And not even properly cooked chicken. They brought it out raw. Now, call me old-fashioned, but when I order chicken, I don’t want to be reminded of how it looked when it was clucking about in the farmyard. So naturally, we send it back. At which point, instead of apologising and fixing it, which they did but later they gave us an email explanation, Apparently, the chicken’s lack of heat was due to our “alterations” and “allergy constraints.” Because yes, clearly my request not to die from eating peanuts means you can serve me salmonella on a plate.
Nice waitress, regular ambiance, but the rest of the food? It was… fine. Good, even. But here’s the problem: good food doesn’t cut it when you’re paying the kind of prices that make you wonder if the waiter is going to throw in a second-hand BMW with the dessert. I left not dazzled, not delighted, but disappointed
So, too much hype, too little delivery. If you want raw poultry and excuses dressed up as gastronomy, by all means, this is your spot. But me? I’d rather go to a supermarket, buy a rotisserie chicken, where chefs so not miss a simple task
