Zandra's Taqueria, Haymarket

Ate here and the food is amazing. The only thing I could remotely complain about is the chips,they're paper thin. Overall,it's a pretty nice place to eat. Thanks Dylan for recommending.

The food is just okay, but the service is horrific to say the least. The female bartender who was working the afternoon on 12/3/24 gave my husband so much attitude as if she doesn’t want to be there or be bothered with anyone who was picking up their orders. I’m not sure if she thinks that people are just picking orders for delivery, no we are paying local customers from the neighborhood. If it’s such a big issue to ask where we can pick up our orders, please do us all a favor and put up a sign if it’s too much to ask your employees.

The location is a bit of a hidden gem. The mural on the wall is very cool. Food was really good, they have a nice bar for those who are interested. I was very pleased with my first time eating there.

This place is nice, and I love that it's kinda out of the way from all the other restaurants in the area. The food is generally pretty good, but some days I find it's better than others. The last time I visited, the margaritas weren't very good, the food was ok, but the service was nice. The time before that, everything we had was delicious, but the service sucked. I guess you could say it's hit or miss. I like the option of having another Mexican place to go to besides Uncle Julio's and el Vacquero

Don't recommend this place at all!👎🏿 Staff is very pushy and unprofessional. This place won't be in business long with the current staff, long wait for food, and just plain. I see why you all were outside begging people to come inside now. 🤦🏿‍♂️Do yourself a favor and go else where besides here, fast food beat this place 10 to 1!

Visited for the first time the Culpeper spot. It was delicious, service was great, and the price was good. Love the creative menu options!

It’s always a great experience at Zandra's Taqueria in Haymarket! The food is fresh, yummy, and fast! Highly recommend any of the four vegan tacos! Also, my family loves the fried chicken and shrimp tempura tacos—they’re both delicious! Great chips, salsas and queso dip! If you’re lucky enough to have David G. as your primary server, all the better! He’s very knowledgeable and excellent at anticipating one’s needs— always stellar service when he’s working! Thank you!

I’ve been here twice so far during summer 2024. My only gripe is the dining room is not adequately cooled. Both times I came here, it was in the upper 90s outside and the dining room was probably 80°. Our server this evening was sweating and so were other patrons. Please turn up the A/C in the warm months!

The food is phenomenal. Do yourself a favor and try the buffalo cauliflower taco. Of course, there are plenty of magnificent meat options as well. My teenage son and I were stuffed after three tacos: the portions are huge and run about $4.50 per taco. My daughter loves the chorizo and tots breakfast taco. I also enjoyed the best mojito I’ve had since I last vacationed in Miami. Aside from the steamy dining room, it’s well-lit, cozy, and the staff are very kind. It’s in a great location, too.
