My wife and I popped in the other night and had a lovely time. Their Shopska salad was fresh and flavorful. The Lepinja bread I ordered on the side was also terrific. I would highly recommend this restaurant to Richmonders looking for a taste of the Balkans.

Im sorry I didn't take pictures, but this restaurant is AMAZING. I took my parents here for lunch after being in tge area and them saying they wanted something different. I'll start with the food, the Lepinja bread is quite possibly the best I've ever had! It's made fresh daily and finished on the grill top for a wonderful texture and flavor, it's soft and a little chewy, but the grill gives it an awesome, firm crust. I tried the burger (not what Americans generally think of though) which was a ground meat stuffed with spicy cheese, a unique tomato based sauce, sour cream, vegetables and was served on the lepinja bread. My parents each had a gyro which was a mixture of beef and lamb and also served on the lepinja bread. I need to emphasize two things, the sandwiches were HUMONGOUS and they were DELICIOUS!! Even without sides, we all had enough left to take home for at least a whole dinner on top of another lunch (plus we purchased some of the lepinja bread to-go).
The staff was friendly and helpful with any questions we had, and the kitchen was very quick in preparing our food.
The restaurant (and attached market) were large, open and clean. I liked the unique design in the restaurant which was fun talking about while waiting.
I definitely am looking forward to the next time my dad has his doctor's appointment up here because I know where we'll get lunch at, and we've already discussed bringing other family members and guests to try this place out in the future. The bread alone is worth the almost hour long drive from my house.

Came in on a Saturday evening, place was mostly dead. The smoked meat platter was good, entrees were a bit off. The chicken jager was alright, but the Vienna schnitzel was greasy and salty, not worth 80$. Overall I'd give it a second chance, maybe we just ordered the wrong thing. Service was excellent, very attentive.

This restaurant is excellent! The ćevapi are some of the best I’ve had in the states. The market also has a huge selection of Balkan products. Also, love that I can get original Bosnian beer here! Do yourself a favor and give these guys a chance.
Hvala lijepo!

First time trying Bosna and it was well worth it. Started out with lepinja bread, which was so good we thought about buying some to go home with us. Then for our meal, we had chicken schnitzel halal with veggies and chicken jager halal with mashed potatoes…both of these were fantastic! Also, enjoyed a shokata and forest fruit tea with our meals. We saw others getting sandwiches on the lepinja bread and will definitely be going back to try those and other entrees. When we left, we went next door to the Bosna Market for a few items, so check that out too.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!!!! We had the goulash, Burek, appetizer plate with out-of-this-world meat, Pljeskavica + coffee and dessert!!! And EVERYTHING was sooo good, the owner is so friendly and helpful - what a gem this place is!!!! I felt like I was in the Balkans again… HVALA!!! 💖💖💖
Amazing food and amazing service! We can't wait to come back! We've never had Bosnian food before, wanted to try something new, and we're delighted with every single dish we ordered. We ordered the meat and cheese platter for the appetizer which was plentiful and delicious. For entrees we got the beef paprikash, the house mixed meat platter for two (and huge platter of various meats that the while table shared), the gyro plate (huge and delish), and the house combination platter. The meats were all seasoned and cooked to perfection, the vegetables were just perfect, and their bread is light and fluffy. I highly recommend Bosna Restaurant, this place is a hidden gem in Henrico county!

My first time trying Bosnian food, and I’m officially a fan! Loved their beef burek—flaky, savory, and so comforting. The sausage platter was full of flavor, the goulash was rich and hearty, and the sarma (cabbage rolls) were deliciously tangy.
The staff were warm and welcoming, and the whole place had such a cozy, authentic vibe.
Can’t wait to come back and try more!
Highly recommend you checking out the Bosnian grocery next door!

Truly a hidden gem that deserves more love. Food is absolutely delicious and they have a pretty wide selection of beer from Bosnia such as Saraejevsko, including non-alcoholic variants.
We had Cevapi (sausage), spinach pie (similar to Greek spanakopita), and the gyro platter, mushroom soup, and Bosnian coffee, which is similar to Turkish/Ethiopian coffee. We had Lepinja bread, it's incredibly soft and shareable, even though you wouldn't think so at first glance.
The portions, quality, and price are incredible for the West End. I don't know why this place doesn't get more love, it's really, really good and the service was excellent.

Unfortunately, one of the chicken tenders from the kids’ menu was undercooked. It made our whole family feel nauseous, and we couldn’t continue with the meal. This is not an acceptable mistake. Undercooked chicken is extremely dangerous to human health.
