I unfortunately, did not take pictures. But, this was new and exciting. Burma foods, truly amazed me. The owner gave me recommendations and explain how things were made. The Burma udon salad, I’ve tried was amazing and completely new! I love the spice yet coolness of the veggies. I tasted something different and the owner explained it was chickpea powder, soo yummy! TRY IT , this cuisine deserves a lot more attention! I would order, whatever they recommend for that day! The family and Atmosphere was wonderful as well!

One of the best places to eat you'll find anywhere. My wife has been to Myanmar, and we have eaten at several renowned Burmese restaurants on the west coast, and this is an incredibly authentic example of one of the best and most unique cuisines in the world. I cannot vouch for the sushi as I did not try any, but the green tea leaf salad and curries we had were stellar. And the owner was a very kind and gently professional. If you are in the area and are a fan of any of Richmond's great asian restaurants (vietnamese, thai, indian, etc.), EAT HERE! It is truly chef's kiss!

I get take out from this restaurant regularly, and it is absolutely delicious. The noodle salads, sushi and bento bowl are my favorites but I plan to try just about everything. I could't recommend this place more!

Burma Sushi, like many strip mall finds in Henrico- is a true gem. I’m not gonna lie, i was hesitant at first with the name baring that of a country so far from Japan. However, it is the 21st century and we live in a globalized society where one can find amazing authentic ethnic food without having to travel far. Burma Sushi is a living example of this. The chef/manager is extremely courteous and attentive. The modest interior has tables for 2 and is clean and welcoming. As for the food- the Musubi is fantastic- fresh and made with care, much better than what I ate while in Hawaii. Tuna Lovers speciality roll was delightfully composed. Crab Creamcheese roll was also fantastic and light for something with cream cheese in it. I could tell that even the miso soup was not prepared with care and balance. Don’t wait like I did, this place is ? and it doesn’t break the bank!

What an amazing find! I’ve been looking for a good place to find traditional sushi. The staff is amazing, they are always thrilled to see us dine in. Every experience I’ve had they’ve never disappointed. When dining in the tea they serve always rejuvenates me, the cucumber salad is so refreshing. The sushi itself is the best I’ve had in VIRGINIA. I suggest going any chance you get.

Dietary restrictions: They have tons of options for vegetarian meals.

Parking: Great parking!

BurmaIF YOU’RE CONSIDERING SUSHI, GO HERE!My wife and I have ordered in from this place a few times through Postmates, and it was always 10/10, but having come here for the first time today we had no idea how good it could be!The sushi is fresh fresh fresh and the salads are unique and delicious! Don’t expect the wide varieties you see at other sushi spots, but instead you’ll find the care and attention to flavor. While you’re at it, Google Myanmar (formerly Burma) and pay tribute to the struggle their people are going through by enjoying their cuisine.I recommend the Crazy Spicy Roll and the Udon Noodle Salad!

I just moved to the neighborhood three weeks ago and wanted sushi I should’ve read the reviews. Tempura which is by nature crunchy tasted super old definitely was not made fresh today. the cream cheese roll was warm and after one bite I chose not to eat it. I hope I don’t get sick. Very disappointing for 30 plus dollars and I gave a tip. To make matters worse their card reader wasn’t working properly and they ran it three times!

I must've ordered at a bad time because the sushi was stale and mushy. It tasted like sushi from Kroger that has been sitting for a little too long, and it looked like it too. I ordered the Tempura roll(cooked) which looked good but the tempura was just breading and mushy. I also ordered another roll that I believe was not the right one. It didn't have any of the ingredients that were listed.
