The baked beans were the best we’ve had.
Victoria is a great server. She told us the history, helped us order, & was very friendly. It felt like eating at a friend’s house.

Absolutely fantastic food so good it should be illegal. Victoria our server recommended all the best things and didn't steer us wrong 100% amazing service and a very down to earth cool lady just a real doll. I will absolutely be back we took food to go we were so impressed. I hope Bobby Flay cried when he lost.

This is a true bbq joint! So eclectic and unique in its layout makes it even more fun. The beef ribs are exactly what I expect beef ribs to be and are amazing. The huge menu is fantastic, and the only thing that rivals its selections is their bourbon selections at the bar. It's one of my favorite spots when I visit Richmond!

Very interesting on the outside and have always wanted to try this restaurant since I love barbecue. Interesting decor, deep liquor, beer and cider collection. I feel like the restaurant needs a deep cleaning. The menus were greasy and sticky, lots of dust all over. However the oversized fan looked immaculate. All the food came out lukewarm except for the panko shrimp which was pretty good. The Mac and cheese gave me mixed feelings since you could tell it would have been creamier if it were served warmer. There was a nice crust on top but I felt like there should have been more flavor. The Cole slaw was interesting. Tasted very fresh, with a peppery and almost pickle brine back note taste. Unfortunately, the beef brisket was rubbery and I needed the plastic knife to cut through the meat. Perhaps not smoked to proper temps. There was a nice smoky bark though. While the restaurant wasn’t full, traffic was steady and there appeared to be a constant flow of takeout and people eating in their cars. To enter the parking lot, you need to be coming from the East, otherwise you will need to make a u-turn to enter. I also felt the prices were way beyond the typical uplift in price you pay for good bbq. Maybe I came on a bad day so may come back later.

Parking: If you have a large truck, it may be challenging to enter because you have to make a sharp turn from the street to enter the paved and marked lot.

Unfortunate our experience was not very good. Are elderly waitress had rb face. Poor customer service. food was cold and bill was $60. It was our first and unfortunately our last visit. Way to many options. Do not recommend...

The food here is yummy, seasoned and cooked well. Not the biggest fan of the inside esthetics, but it’s unique and nostalgic. Great place for a quick lunch or dinner pick up.

I utilize Buzz and Ned's during the holidays. Their collard greens are the best in town if you do not have time to cook your own. The ribs are fantastic. We always get the baby back ribs. Victoria has been there for years and is always helpful with catering needs.
