Just not good. Many better choices in the area.

Been here about 7 times over the course of the last 5 years including 3 times this year. This is my family’s favorite place to eat. The ribs, wings, corn, and baked beans are all one of a kind. We can’t find any restaurant as good as this one. We have always had amazing waiter.
I’m not sure why this place is not as busy as before, assuming it is a lack of advertising.

Ok so here we go. Legit BBQ. Haven't had any close to this since I was in Colorado Springs at Rudy's. Come hungry if you want a full rack. But recommend the regular which is about 6-7 ribs. Will be back

Nice little gem in Richmond on Broad Street near Parham Rd. Good food and atmosphere was great. We were lucky and were in and out just as the Happy Hour crew was coming in. Great service. Guy really took care of us. Highly recommend.

Bought a pound of barbecue with sauce to go was mostly grease with fat. I was very disappointed and was unable to eat it was absolutely too greasy for me. However, the hushpuppies are delicious

It had been a while since my husband and I were both in Richmond at the same time, so we decided to stop in for some ribs.

When we arrived, the place looked closed — no one greeted us at the entrance, and there were boxes and supplies stacked around the ordering station. Eventually, a cook came from the back and let us know they were open and that we could seat ourselves. We found a table, and the waitress took our order.

Unfortunately, the food didn’t make up for the rough start. The ribs were extremely dry, and the collard greens lacked any flavor. We had to wait while they searched for one of only two bottles of malt vinegar. Meanwhile, the servers, including our waitress, spent most of their time chatting and on their phones at the bar, so we had to get up and track someone down whenever we needed anything.

In my husband’s words: “$90 of BBQ disappointment.”

This ought to be the best if not one of the best brisket sandwich I have ever had . I asked for simple barbecue beef brisket , opted for a bun instead of bread...... it was done ! The service was great! However the cost is not for Penny pinchers ! The location requires a bit of maneuvering, but getting back to highway 64 is not difficult. The qualify of their brisket surpasses the osdinary! I am looking forward to trying their scared ribs!!!! Almost everyone uses the same technique for brisket, but this that I had here that day had a wow effect ! It's not easy to say that about barbecue, But again ! The BEST barbecue beef brisket sandwich I have had sooooo far!

Used to be a hitting spot but dead on a Saturday at lunch time today. Food was good especially the greens but portions have gotten much smaller. but The service was way too slow, however. Only 3-4 other tables and every interaction took 10-15 minutes. I think this was my last time here. Too bad.

Good atmosphere. Food was not the best. Beef ribs were very overcooked and had little meat. Maybe other meats were better but that was what we tried.

Would have preferred some healthier side options - even the sides with veggies were either fried or had sugar.
