I go here just for the onigiri. It’s affordable and super good. I tried their boba a couple years back at the original location, and the price going up $2+ isn’t worth it in my opinion.
I really hate to say it, but I can tell their staff are inexperienced. It takes over 20 minutes sometimes to get simple orders, and I’ve had them come out wrong 5 times now. They are always either on their phones, chatting with each other, or not present. The POS system makes it easy to order, but I feel like they don’t notice an order has come in. If there are more than 3 other customers in the store, expect a wait.
With that being said, I still come here because I love their products. I want to leave this review not to be mean to the employees, but more to bring attention to the issues this location is having.

The last 2 times that we have visited this place, they did not have some of the items that we wanted to order and we're not sure if we'll go back again.

Very cute spot and the tea/onigiri was great. They have a Photo Booth for those wanting to take pictures, and lots of refrigerated items you can buy as well. Also has a large amount of vegetarian options.

Got 3 milk teas from here. Two taro one mango. Both flavors were excellent. Will try some food next time. They don’t have any drink carriers though. So be prepared to drink there or hold them if you don’t have cup holders in your vehicle.

I came across this place while shopping and decided to try out.
Upon entering the store, I was greeted immediately and the staff was really friendly and patient when I asked him questions.
I got a White Phin Coffee, a Pink Matcha Latte, and a Kumquat Lemonade. I like the coffee and matcha. The matcha one I got had strawberry jam and jelly in it, which really enhanced the flavor imo. I'm not too impressed with the kumquat drink, but the green tea used in it had a subtle hint of jasmine which I like.
The drinks are a bit pricy compared to other bubble tea shops, but I think it wouldn't hurt to switch up a bit once in a while.
I may try out the onigiri on my next visit.

Came here to get boba tea. The straws are too small to even slurp boba through and the straws are compostable i went through three straws and breaking them. just trying enjoy my drink. I ended up eating it with a spoon and the boba wasnt even soft…….

Pretty disappointing for $5 onigiri. Decent size, mid taste. Basically falls apart after you open it as it looks to be long grain rice instead of sushi rice, and it's not even compacted well I had 7 or so onigiri with some being warm and some being cold and both eaten there and at home and I can't recommend any of them. The only reason it's a 2 star review was the drinks were solid and the atmosphere was great.

$5 onigiri is criminal and everything else is overpriced too. Quit charging luxury prices for Asian food that's like $1 in Asia. Hope y'all go out of business for this scam. There's no world where a mainly rice snack is $5 lmao

Open hours in the overview are not correct. I came on a Sunday at 6:40 pm just to try this place and it was closed. I drove all the way to hear for nothing...

Unique place. Good place to hang out with your love one. Good drinks and snacks. Even food and drinks have it’s uniqueness. Glad Richmond has place like this.

I've been meaning to try this place for a while, and I was absolutely not disappointed. Upon entry, I was stunned by how freaking cute everything was. The walls, the seat cushions, the decor- everything was such a lovely vibe it made me really happy just being in the store. Even their bathrooms are tasteful in design. They also have a photo booth with props and to-go drinks/snacks/meals available for purchase outside of the food they make in store. The receptionist was so sweet and helped me pick out some stuff when I was overwhelmed by the options (always a good thing to have lots of options in my opinion). I ended up getting the okinawa brown sugar boba (lower sweetness level), garlic salmon onigiri, and duck egg musubi. The boba was so soft and squishy (which means it is fresh) and the tea itself was the perfect level of sweetness for me. I absolutely love how we are given the option to have our meals warmed up, and I chose to heat up both. The rice was so fluffy and soft and the filling in the ongiri was flavorful and delicious. The musubi was great as well and the duck egg was different from conventional chicken eggs, but the depth of flavor compliments the rice well. My one recommendation is that they have a bottle of hot sauce for customers to use when in the store.I ended up spending 21 dollars on my meal (plus a few extra dollars for tip). In this economy, it is the norm for food like this to be a little pricey so I'm not complaining as long as the quality and service stay at a high level. Plus the fact that they are using sustainable and ecofriendly cups, utensils, and straws makes the cost more than worth it.All in all, I 100% will be returning here way more than my wallet will want me to, and bringing all my friends and family with me.

There is a woman in there that waits around to take people's food/drink that they ordered. I waited for about 20 minutes for my passion tea and finally I said I'm just going to run to the restroom really quick while they make my order. As I'm walking out of the restroom the woman is walking away from the pick up counter with my drink. I thought, "Maybe she ordered the same thing as me let me just be calm and wait." Nope. I waited for maybe 20 additional minutes and went back to the counter. The associate said he already served my drink a long time ago. He was so kind to make me another drink. But the restaurant only had like three groups dining at that moment. No one really cared to make sure the right order got to the right person. This drink swiper was dressed in business clothing maybe so she didn't appear to be the thief that she really is. Beware. She had short blonde hair and chunky build. Chunky from taking everyone's food I believe. The tea was actually really delicious. Kinda worth the 45 minute wait.

It was really good. I got the green smoothie. And I don’t mind paying $10 for an organic drink but I do expect the cup to be filled to the top for this price (definitely not an inch from the top).I will come back and see if this was a one off (hopefully).

The best shrimp tempura I’ve had in a long time. Would love to have an option to have the pork belly in the onigiri served hot. Thank you for the recommendation of the Ruby Guava, it was delightful! Will be back!
