I’ve made it my mission to try the birria tacos from as many Mexican restaurants as I possibly can. And so far these are my fave. They’re packed with meet, delicious flavor and that consomé has depth in flavor as well, a bit is that green sauce and it pulls it all together with a little bit of spice.
We ordered the birria ramen and birria pizza. Both were delicious. The place was pizza and cars were parked out front with their hazards on for to go orders so definitely plan on waiting if you order inside, or plan ahead and get it to go! I wish the ramen was a bigger for $10. Elote was the best I’ve had in Richmond don’t skip it. Cucumber lime juice was fresh and perfectly sweet. Fiancé loved the birria pizza it’s the large size and we had leftovers, suggest the person size!

I came just to get Fresas con crema with a friend. When coming in, we were not greeted, and the customer service from the start was questionable. I asked the cashier (female with glasses and long ponytail) who was preparing my fresas con crema If she could add walnuts, because every time I order it on DoorDash, it comes with walnuts, and I had noticed she didn’t add them. When I asked her, I didn’t get a response back just a dirty look, and she looked To the opposite direction of me. My friend waited about 10 minutes. We were standing in front of the cash register, waiting for her to take her order. When trying to get her attention to place the order we were ignored. On top of this she did not seal my lid to the bowl of fresas con crema so it leaked all over the bottom of the bag which I should have checked for after she rudely placed it on the counter with no words. I have worked in the food industry before so I can understand it’s stressful however her mannerism was extremely unprofessional.

I ordered the birria balls and carne asada fries for my meal. They were both lacking in any exquisite flavor, the birria balls were too doughy, overpowering any flavor from the little bit of filling. The carne asada fries tasted like a literal hamburger, very American… We also ordered the churro Sunday which was great! Their dessert seems to be great and to take into account it is more a street food place than a good restaurant. The food is definitely not anything to eat daily, I would consider it fast food with all the fats and calories but none of the savory addicting flavor…Also the service was very slow so warning on that!Overall I will say the desserts here are great! But I wouldn’t recommend anything else… it’s a place for a quick meal, don’t expect anything better.
