I treated my friend to lunch today (1/8/26). As always the atmosphere was very pleasant. The problem I had was with my food. I ordered the smothered pork chops with onions, peppers and gravy with mashed potatoes and cabbage. My friend ordered the jumbo chicken wings with collard greens and potato salad. Her food was fine, but mine on the other hand wasn't. First the cabbage was warm on top but cold under, there were very little onions and no peppers at all, plus they were a little on the salty side. I have no problem with the size of the portions. I just took my food to go.

I place an order for food to be picked up at 1. I had to go back 3 different times just to get it. I suggest if you do catering plan the time way in advance

We had our annual family dinner at Jackie's. The service was amazing and the food was hot and delicious! Cee Cee was our waitress and she took care of the entire party fast and effortlessly! Thanks again for having us.

I went to Jackie’s to celebrate my daughter graduation, it’s was the best dining experience I had in a long time , food was great & the drinks , we had about 15 people in our party, the waiter was the best his name was Marcus , never panic cause it was a lot of us , and also the DJ was the best , if you want a nice dining experience, I definitely recommend Jackie’s ..

Richmond's Best Kept Secret! Sunday at Grandma's house with your cousins and a stove full of food. This is the atmosphere recreated, these are the tastes manifested. Jackie's is food for family and food for the soul. Great menu, perfect execution.

Went with a group of friends after I had made reservations 2 weeks ago prior to Reservation was for 6:00 PM and I arrived at 5:45 PM Was finally sealed at 7:15 by the hostess . Wait staff never came so I had to go find a different hostess who saved the day for my guests and I Totally dysfunctional operations I think this best viewed as a neighborhood juke joint My guests shared that their entrees were okay nothing special except for one who’s Shrimp dinner was cold My meatloaf dinner was a camouflaged hamburger steak with a little brown gravy Okay let me come clean The owners are attempting to offer dine in and take out services in the same limited cramped space

Our experience at Jackie's was excellent, the food came out smoking hot! We ordered the wingettes & smothered porkchops which were super tender! Our server was Kayla gave us nice service too. We will be back!! Thank you for a nice meal!!!
