They sale oxtails that are bones. And when you ask about it they say they come in a box like that. Also said they cannot give you all the big ones. Needless to say I have been there 5 times and they were all bony pieces. They look as if they were sawed into thin pieces. Very displeased. Someone me referred me to Carena’s Jamaican Grille. Much bigger delicious and cheaper. I was so satisfied.

I had a decent customer service experience. But, 5 mins after eating my small curry chicken dinner I was horribly ill. My whole day was ruined. I don’t know what was in the food, but stay away from that dish.

I wish that I could give Zero Stars. This place is the absolute worst. The light skinned lady at the front has zero customer service. I have never been treated so rudely while ordering food. When I had a request about the packaging time of my order, she said "we know how to prepare food and we will prepare the food and present it as we see fit." That was only a snippet of her rudeness. I walked out! I refuse to order food from someone who blatantly hates life! I do not suggest anyone eat anything that she prepares because she is hateful. There were NO customers at lunch time on a Monday! Now I understand why the place looked like a ghost town. Absolutely ridiculous!

Grabbed some takeout. Unfortunately by dinner time, most of the menu items are sold out so went with the curry chicken. Great portion for what you pay for and it tastes amazing. Will have to return for lunch next time.

It's time to keep up with the times. The only sides they have is rice peas and cabbage. I asked the lady on the phone if I could have extra sauce and she said " we'll see" I almost hung up then but I wanted to see if the reviews matched. We got two large Jerk Chicken meals. When I walked in she was plating them, that was very fast. I did not get extra sauce. The food had a very clean presentation and large portions. We got the large, two meals came to about $27.00 give or take with taxed. That's where the good stops. On to the bad. The food was horrible. No reason on rice and peas but they weren't super dry. Mediocre cabbage, tough undercooked chicken. I'm not impressed with the service or the food and this is why Jamaican restaurants keep going out of style. I want authentic Jamaican cuisine and I have yet to find that in RVA.
