It was take away today , ordered for lahori chicken karahi , they put like 8 neck bones not even one leg piece. When I called her, there was a Spanish lady and I am sure she is not aware of Pakistani taste even the name of dishes , she said she doesnt have time for complaints, isnt it your business??? And feedbck is not welcome even its a complaint

My family’s favorite place in Richmond. Owner is very nice. Authentic taste. Our favorite is fresh grill bbq with channa and Peshawari karhai. And our favorite place for halwa puri.

I had a very unpleasant experience at Kebab Place Richmond and unfortunately cannot recommend it to anyone. This restaurant, which serves Pakistani cuisine, completely missed the mark in terms of food quality, service, and overall hygiene. From the moment I entered, the ambiance felt uninviting, and things only went downhill from there.
The food itself was extremely disappointing — poorly prepared, lacking flavor, and had a strong, unpleasant smell that made it hard to even continue eating. What was truly alarming is that despite ordering vegetarian food, it was mistakenly served with beef. This is a serious issue, especially for customers with dietary restrictions or religious beliefs. It reflects a lack of care and attention in the kitchen, and I felt deceived and disrespected as a customer.
There was no accountability or proper explanation from the staff. Instead, I felt as though I was being misled and taken lightly. The experience left a really bad impression, and I regretted choosing this place. For anyone looking for authentic or quality South Asian food in Richmond, I highly recommend looking elsewhere.
Sadly, this visit was a mistake I won’t repeat. I will not be returning and strongly advise others to avoid this restaurant.

Be prepared to pay more than what is listed on their menu online. For example they have halwa poori on weekends which is listed at 9.99 for 2 poori, curry and halwa but they charged me 12.99/poori now which is ridiculous to say the least. Please be aware of it as they just custom charge their customers it seems. I have had another instance where I was charged more and had I not checked the bill I would not have known.

We used to eat there frequently. For a couple of last years the prices were going up and yet the portions were getting smaller. We tried it again recently and it got worse. Prices are high, portions still small, decor is dated and now they also overcharge. We found that we were overcharged compared to the pice on the menu in front of us on the wall. When confronted we were told they did not notice that the prices are different between manu and bill, and thay was a lie. They said the same to other customers and are simply scaming. Beware, they will charge you more and pretend not to realize it. They also refused to refund fhe difference. That is it. We will not be coming back.
