When Joe retired from the pharmacy it has gone completely downhill. Long waits and rude, petty employees. Especially Megan and a young man there. Go anywhere else

I usually go there at least five times a week because everything is easy to find for me. Since 2018 this Kroger is my everyday shop store. There was no doubt that this store has the worst employees in the seafood section. Most of them are very rude. sometimes they refuse to sell products. If they don't like your face they will not come to you immediately. They keep you waiting and show a weird attitude so that you leave. If you don't leave they will come to you after a while and say I'm busy with inventory or something so I can't help you at this time though it is still open. self-checkout also has problems. They are totally not helpful.

Rudest staff you will ever experience in your life! They also never have anything in stock. Most places in the area have exceptional customer service and products. I will never go to any Kroger again.

After Costco, this west broad Richmond, Kroger is my favorite store for gas and groceries. Almost every day offers and discounts are there. I like their display and arrangements of food items and fresh flowers. Beauty products are at the best offers in this Kroger store. Staffs are really helpful and return process goes very smoothly. Bakery items are good and everyday sale is there for cake. I usually buy cakes and cookies all time. Never and ever we had any complaints about this store. Self check out is very easy to go.

Failure of a re grand opening. Let's start with dirty store, rude employees, bad veggies, and many products not having barcodes. Self check out guy snatched a potato from me and told me to go clear across the store to get another because the label and bqrcode was missing from it as it was a single wrap potato. He could of took 1min to key it in but said no. NONE of those potatoes had barcodes but some how that was my Fn fault. Back to publix I go. Atleast they don't hover over you and have self checkout cameras to ensure your not stealing because you scanned to fast.... now when you scan to fast like a box of cereal an alarm on the screen goes off and shows you a recording like your a criminal. F that.

Kroger is a good option to buy organic food, if you want to eat healthy, they got many options and good quality. I like shopping there because they got what I like, not many grocery store has what I like.

I'm new to Virginia & had never heard of Kroger's despite a family member shopping there (a different location) & loving it. I've never been disappointed there- great staff, hard-working, professional & very helpful. Great idea for discounts on their gas station & at Shell gas station for shopping there & getting a Kroger's card. Reasonable prices, myriad foods, very clean & organized. Thank you for your service Kroger's. Love the self-checkout machines & I get to be a cashier temporarily - help available there on the spot- good employee training

I typically enjoy going to Kroger, especially this location. However I feel incredibly unsafe going to Kroger these days and seeing a large section of Kroger being set up like a bar--every seat filled, no space between tables, everyone maskless. I don't understand how or why this is allowed. There are plenty of open bars available to people who want to enjoy that. People who want to shop for groceries shouldn't have to be subjected to the danger of infection these bar settings cause. There are plenty of other grocery stores that have drinking areas set up that aren't in use currently because those grocery stores respect the fact that we're living through a pandemic. I'm Incredibly disappointed that Kroger has decided that safety isn't a priority to its grocery shoppers.

We are months into the pandemic. Still I go to Kroger hoping they will get it right. This morning, numerous employees did not have their noses covered with their masks including the dude preparing sushi. The Lays distributor stocking the items has found a new way to wear his mask, so it covers his chin but not his nose or mouth. You have to hand to the employees. They have demonstrated a willingness to totally ignore the law and company policy. But seriously, if you are high risk, it makes no sense to go to any Kroger in the area.

Since mid-March, the staff at the Kroger at 9840 W. Broad have been attentive and courteous. Shopping carts are being sanitized each time as I enter the store. The checkout belt is cleaned between each customer. Store staff are wearing masks. This has not been my experience at other Krogers. when I've used on-line shopping, staff have been timely and attentive. Selection of fresh produce hasn't gone well, but otherwise my order has been complete. I commend the manager and his staff for their work to keep the customers safe. I will continue to shop regularly at this store.
