We went today for lunch to celebrate my 21st birthday and it was great. Our server Alexis was incredibly kind, and I tried the Sunset in Paradise drink and it did not disappoint! And Alexis and the back of house staff gave me a cute happy birthday cookie which made my day! Absolutely love this location.

Poor management and ownership. The owner is offering $10 cash prize for any review mentioning an employee in order to make his business look good. As you can see by the abundance of clearly fake reviews, a lot of the staff is getting friends and family to leave reviews that tell you nothing about what an experience at this Mellow Mushroom is like. I wouldn’t trust any of these reviews.If you want an excellent mellow experience you should just drive south to the one in midlo — great management and atmosphere. Truly fast service too!

I have been coming to this location for years and have noticed a huge decline in cleanliness, food quality, wait time for food, and over all vibes of this Mellow Mushroom. I have waited over an hour for food a handful of times. The managers are constantly seen standing around and complaining about their jobs and personal lives instead of helping out the staff. There is a very noticeable fruit fly problem and I’ve even over heard staff talking about being assigned “ cleaning roach and mice feces”.Honestly the only reason I would come to this Mellow is the awesome bar staff. But recently the owner fired my favorite bartender, Teryl, for not getting enough positive google reviews. The owner is offering $10 cash prize for any review mentioning an employee in order to make his business look good. As you can see by the abundance of clearly fake reviews, a lot of the staff is getting friends and family to leave reviews that tell you nothing about what an experience at this Mellow Mushroom is like. In reality, you will be waiting 45 minutes to an hour for food and risk catching any number of food born illnesses ( forgot to mention the open kitchen- if you take a look they aren’t wearing gloves!)If you spend any money in this restaurant you will be supporting a business owner who is willing to fire a woman who is SEVEN MONTHS PREGNANT for not participating in a phony google review scam. There are so many local businesses to support in the area and I’d rather give my money to anyone else. Next time I hope the owner invests his time in improving his guests experience instead of intimidating staff to get him the result he wants.

Be warned that all the recent positive reviews you’re seeing are fake! The manager is offering $10 rewards to any staff who get friends and family to leave fake 5 star reviews to boost their ratings. The best bartender he had wouldn’t participate in the scam so he fired her at 7 months pregnant. PLEASE SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE! There are many other options in the area with better food and morals.

They fired my favorite bartender that works Sunday’s, Monday’s, and Tuesday’s. The owner needs to get it together and not fire people over a stupid review thing. So because y’all are back up at 4 I am going to bring it down to 3 stars. On top of that 45 min ticket times are outrageous.That bartender was so nice and along with that, she is 4 months pregnant. Worked there for 3 years and to get canned over getting reviews for the restaurant is egregious behavior that reflects on the owner and managers. I will not be eating there ever again.

This is a delayed review...I went in 2 weeks ago on a Tuesday to pick up a large to-go order. I was greeted by Patty who was so friendly and positive. I could tell they were oddly busy for a Tuesday during lunch time and I was one of 3 large togo/catering orders. Not only was Patty transparent about them running behind, but she was so communicative on the status of my order. She was so kind and was running around like crazy, so she deserves a shout out! I appreciated her customer service and her willingness to go above and beyond for me (the customer!)

I wanted to take a moment and tell you how awesome the service is here. My son has a severe soy allergy and it was a busy night. However, our server, Tabatha, was awesome! She checked with the kitchen and when they didn't have the information she needed, she went to the back and got the ingredient book and looked up each dish he was interested in at the table! She was very attentive and anticipated our needs before we even asked. She is the reason that my family will come back again. The food was good, but her service was outstanding!
