Only been here once so far but definitely willing to come back! The building and the interiors look sketchy, but the food was amazing! I got the carnitas and it was very delicious. Glad to have found this hole-in-the-wall place!
Our visit was a mixed bag. The service and the food was good. The interior was clean but it is showing its age and the benches in the booth where we sat were not very comfortable. A friend's criterion for judging the authenticity of the food at an ethnic restaurant is the percent of those eating there that appear to be of the nationality of the restaurant. This restaurant clearly would get a 5 rating on this criterion.
Having lived 20 years in Los Angeles walking through the door is like coming home. Warm, wonderful people and delicious tacos and pupusas and Spanish is the first language. Loud Mariachi music non stop. Perfect.
