SO SAD. we have ordered quite a few times different dishes.
This one. Tonight..Schewhan Beef. Had before..Hubster ordered Crispy Chicken Chow Mein..
As enjoying, the beef.. had a medium length hair in it.
Almost got sick.. 😳😢

This is a pleasant surprise… My wife and I are new to the area (6 Months) and over the past few months we have been in town have been trying places to compare to our classic back home “American style Chinese” favorites. This was a great meal. We called, placed to go, and drove 9 minutes to pick up our “ready in 15” order. When I walked in the man working the counter was bringing that all to familiar brown paper bag from the back. Just our luck it was my order, we had a great quick conversation and I headed on my way. Now, for the food, that’s what matters because after all this is not a sit down style place, so ignore those negative atmosphere reviews…

The order was $52 for crab Rangoon, steamed pork dumplings (real dumps, not someone trying to pass Goyza off as a dumpling!) and 2 warm fresh egg rolls. The mains were General tso’ chicken and a happy family. One order white and one order fried rice. All were a great balance of flavor, meat, vegetables and sauce. We are extremely pleased with the overall experience and I recommend anyone looking for a quick filling meal show this spot some support.

If you want a full sit down with a perfect designed interior and a wait staff, go to Shortpump and pay for it.

Enjoy!

My boyfriend & i tried this Chinese place for the first time. We both got the fried chicken wings & rice with two egg rolls. We both give it a 5/10. The chicken tasted like it was refried but it wasn’t the worst chicken i tasted & i can definitely tell it’s NOT freshly fried. The fried rice is something that we are not used to at all. The eggs rolls were really good the best part of the meal but we wished it was more fuller like we are used too.

The most consistent takeout around. We love New Asian Panda! I’ve always been meh on General Tso’s but they’ve made me a fan. We can order our food and get it delivered within 15 minutes. The food is fresh and delicious.

First Asian place we have tried in the area. Not really a large restaurant, there was only three tables, no one dining in, but we always do take-out. The Sesame Chicken was really good, same with the Sweet and Sour Chicken. Crab Rangoon needed to be cooked longer, they were a little rubbery, and were small. Mongolian Beef was okay, there was no sauce on it, more watery than a thick sauce, and it was not spicy at all. But we will give New Asian Panda another try sometime. Food was hot and ready when we arrived, good service.

I am so glad I didn't base my decision on the negative reviews I saw. I definitely would say this place is close to perfect. Definitely some of the best Chinese I've had. Everything I ordered was really good. Only thing is: the hot and sour soup just wasn't for my taste buds. I like that it's vegetarian, though. My advice to them would be to continue expanding their vegan/vegetarian offerings!!

Vegetarian options: They have a mock section and vegetable section. To be on the safe side, I still requested that my dishes not be made with any meat or seafood ingredients (many Chinese dishes contain chicken stock and oyster sauce but you wouldn't know based on the taste).

I've been to New Asian Panda a couple times. Their Vegetarian section with the mock meats is fantastic! This time I got the Mock Orange Chicken- really good! But the Mock Lemon Chicken has been the best.
The Crab Rangoons and Fried Veggie Dumplings were really flavorful. Highly recommend.
The General Tsos Shrimp was good flavor-wise but just a little too soggy. Didn't have that crispy exterior.
Will be back! I wanna try the Mock Beef!

Five stars. I’ve lived here in short pump for a few years now and have not found a Chinese restaurant I really liked yet. I absolutely LOVE this place. The food was hot and delicious. No wait. I got the Singapore mei fun and mapo tofu and crispy noodles. The owner is so friendly. Great service. Will be back here again soon. I’ve found my new go to place to Chinese food.
