Better than I expected it to be. We went during lunch time on a weekday so it was pretty much empty. Great service from our waiter. We got the whiting, tilapia, and calamari. Calamari was a little chewy but the cajun fries were fried perfectly.

We had a good time at Pier 88. The boisterous atmosphere put me at ease right away. We had raw oysters. They were fat, fresh, and juicy. Our server was super kind and just the right amount of attentive. Crab legs were so sweet I ate just about the whole pound. They have tons of specials and great deals. My only knock would be the total reliance on single use utensils and plastic remikans for every sauce. The table ends up kind of trashy. If we lived close by, I would be a regular.

Pier 88 is a vibe!!! Not only is the food delicious and reasonably priced, the drinks were great!!! The bartender was amazing, I’m horrible with names but let’s just say I would stalk her schedule if I lived in Richmond. Amazing place!!!

Feast your eyes on happy hour with beer, mixed drinks, and select items for cheap prices. Be sure to inquire if you have food allergies. From what I saw the food came out quickly. Great music mix and you can still hold a conversation. I had to eat elsewhere, but those in my party enjoyed their food.

Service was good for the time we got there. Food was good besides the boiled egg that was in my wife's book bag. It made her sick. Not sure how they keep or prepare their food but we won't ever get the egg in the bag again.
