Used to love coming here regularly. My husband and I were barely greeted tonight by a hostess, as they were definitely busy (although I have seen busier). She sat us at a high top but we were told to grab a spot at the bar if one opened up. We were patient and understanding of the service being slow, the service industry being a big challenge in general. Finally jumped to a spot at the bar, the bartender rudely suggested we go find a waitress. Disappointed, won’t be back anymore.

Too many reserved tables.. all the time.No tables for walk in’s . That way all time.Take the space for darts and put few UNRESERVED tables there.Horrible FISH AND CHIPS .. frozen

I have always had good experiences with this small, hometown pub but tonight — not at all. I had 3 friends and myself walk into a room of booked tables. Awesome! Went to the bar and was asked if we have a reservation. We did not. Just wanted to grab a drink & enjoy the music. We were told that we couldn’t stand at the bar. I understand if they/you all were at capacity, however, there were several couples & folks who walked in after us that were not given any grief about being there. Having been a patron for many years now, I was completely taken aback about the treatment. It’s a Friday night at a bar. If you didn’t want to have business approaching your bar, have a security guard at the front letting folks in on a flow if it was a capacity issue. It seems like we were appraised as not “the type” that matched this particular crowd of folks. We likely will never be back because of this. Thats unfortunate as I personally felt like this pub was a strong staple in Richmond’s drink/food scene.
Great food, excellent bands, great fast service, and feels cozy. Older crowd. Feels like a nice neighborhood bar with regulars.

Wow. You want to talk about a hidden gem, this is it. We've visited twice in 2 weeks and it's been top notch both times. A great Irish pub atmosphere and traditional Irish pub food and drinks. One of my favorite places to have dinner by far!
