Red Salt Chophouse and Sushi

Omg! This place was absolutely amazing! The food was so fresh and the taste was so delicious. Holly, the bartender was so helpful and extremely knowledgeable on everything from drinks and food. And a plus is her bubbly and friendly disposition.
We had Crab dip, Lobster Crab bisque, Hulk Sushi and Red Salt Sushi and Red Salt Burger. My drink was When Doves Cry.
Definitely would recommend this place and wiil be back again.

For the locals--great. We just moved from Austin and this is place #9 we have tried that was recommended for Sushi that just misses entirely, but my wife is half Japanese w/ family still in Tsukuba and Tokyo--my advice to all--it starts w/ the rice--and rolls are not sushi. That being said, the atmosphere is elegant, the wine list is really good--both by the glass and bottle--the bartender and hostess very friendly, service outstanding, and other happy hour food was good. I'd come back just for the wine options--but for dinnner and not happy hour as it's a limited kitchen 'till 5pm and for some reason can't open bottles until then. 5 stars for locals, but I think I'm out of options in this town for Sushi and Ramen.

Red Salt is and has always been (since opening) one of my favorite upscale eateries. Over the years Red Salt has remained consistent with food, drinks, service, atmosphere and accomodations. That alone speaks to why I gave them a 5 star rating and Im sure you will also once you dine here.

Overpriced for mid quality food

Red Salt is my favorite chop house. The lobster mac is fabulous with a generous portion of Lobster in it. I love the steak, and the scallops are to die for. I definitely recommend the food.

Although the atmosphere inside was cozy and nice, we ate outside, chairs were comfy, service was great! Food was amazing. I recommend the Brussels sprouts, center cut steak as well as the tasty truffle fries. Definitely coming back!

Food was incredible!! Stuffed Mushrooms and the lamb chops are to die for. Highly recommend. Service on patio was a little slow unfortunately but I’d definitely go again

They have fantastic sushi and a very very friendly service. Whenever I come to Short Pump, I visit this restaurant.

A great restaurant. Great atmosphere. Good place for socializing and business dining. Great sushi selections however, it is a very busy place where reservation is needed for larger group of people
