We recently married in the rose garden at LGBG and hosted our reception in the Robins room. We chose LG because of the gorgeous setting - we didn't have to worry about decorating at all. The staff were phenomenal. From Lyn and Liz who were knowledgeable and prompt in their communications to Cassondra and her team - who were very accommodating of our guests with dietary restrictions, service was attentive, and they even had some extras we could borrow like table numbers....
As an event with a buffet, it is important to let patrons know when you are shutting down the food. (We understand it was to prepare for the next shift). Still important; some at our table did not get dessert.
We ate a big meal at Olive Garden before going there and midway through the walk the shrimp alfredo affected my lactose intolerance in a quite intolerable way!! You ever tried discretely havin' diarrhea in the bushes when all the bushes have lights on them? Everybody in the whole durn park laughed at me and I couldn't stop. I was like a Gatling G*n back there!!! Even the blind kids from the Lion's Club came and laughed at me while their parents decribed what I was...
