A gem of a small family-run, strip mall, hole in the wall, totally comfy place for a cold winter night’s Panang curry, pad see ew, and other delights. We tried the Thai Spicy Noodle Dry, and it was possibly the best of the bunch. Next time we come — which I hope will be soon — we’ll try one of the fish dishes, always a favorite. Service is unhurried, which was exactly what we needed, given the timing of our night. They didn’t care whether we left right away or stuck around a bit, which just added a final flourish to a lovely time. There are some quirky little touches if you look hard enough, a silly cartoon tucked behind a jar of something or other, and an old print of Bangkok. Warm, delicious, and friendly — what more could you ask for?

Love Thai food here! Been in business 30 years. Ok, so i stick my favorites: pad See Ew, curry & Hubs usually gets Bangkok chicken. Each has its own very distinctive flavor profile that I haven’t found at other Thai restaurants, even a fancy one in the city. Bangkok chicken is served in an unusual lovely blue and white ceramic. Service is friendly, helpful & accommodating. The prices are more than reasonable. Atmosphere? I like it! Tonight there was jazzy music punctuated with a Christmas tune here & there. It’s cozy. It’s colorful. It’s sparkly. It’s in a strip mall, so after a tasty meal you can peruse the dollar store & see what you’ve overpaid at the regular Gro.
