$8 dollars for a slice of pizza??? 4 slices of pizza 3 pepperoni and one cheese and 2 pepperoni rolls 42 dollars For the same price you can get 3 large pizzas at gg’s, and the quality is not the same of what it was, very disappointing this was my favorite place for the past 5 years but not is the last time

This place is also known as Mantu Express, (still says 2 guys pizza on the building sign) with a few menu items of Afghan cuisine. They are also still serving the pizzas, canzones, etc. I had the mantu combo lunch plate. It was a huge serving of salad, rice, chicken and 2 large dumplings. I found the chicken a little dry, but the rice and dumplings were delicious. This was my first time trying an Afghan dish. Overall the flavors were good and it made for a nice lunch.

Price goes up, quality of food does not. What used to cost around 10 dollars now costs 15. Drinks way overpriced. Sad to see. Writing this review as I wait for my food. Won't be coming back

I have been a consistent customer for the past 3 years. There have been some renovations over the summer and I believe they are under new management. I went in last week and I was told that they did away with all of their combos and the prices had changed. I looked up at the menu and the price for a slice of pepperoni pizza went up by $2. Come on! The pizza is good but I can go across the street and get a whole pizza for not much more. I walked out with purchasing anything. This returning customer will not be back.

Pizza was barely half cooked, the dough was raw in the middle and the cheese wasn’t fully melted. I didn’t realize I was paying $29 dollars for a take and bake pizza and side salad. Save your money and order from any other place.

I’m basically just shocked. I went in today to get two slices of cheese pizza. Thank god the young kid behind the counter told me ahead of time about their insane price inflation. $6 for a slice of cheese pizza that’s been sitting in the display for who knows how long. This is just absolutely insane. It’s ok pizza to begin with, but now I will never be back. What a shame!

Went for lunch on a Friday and the place looked very clean, the menu looked great, friendly staff, but I did a 180 as fast as I could when I saw there were no specials and $6 for a slice of cheese pizza. No thanks!! ??
New to the area and was looking for something similar to the NY pizza I ate growing up. I initially stumbled upon this place and was pleasantly surprised. I recently visited again and noticed there was new management and figured it would be the same pizza. I was very wrong. The pizza is thick and undercooked, the sauce was sweet and best yet, the prices had doubled. That’s not an exaggeration. The regular slice was $2.89 and it is now $5.99, the pepperoni was $3.79 and now it is $6.99…. I know this because they had left the old sign with prices by the bathroom - see pic. Also ordered a pepperoni roll, received a bacon roll, didn’t want to make a fuss so took a bite, salty and fatty with a side of cold tomato sauce… I don’t ever write reviews but I’m annoyed by the greed, service and product. Disappointed, back to the search.

Stood at the counter for 15 minutes while workers ignored me and didn’t take my order. My friend got served after bugging them over and over, when he finally got his food he confirmed that this place is just no good anymore. Awful service and low tier food.

I pulled up tonight to grab a pie, was easily the best around, but suprised to see a huge banner “now under management of the Mantu”
Oh no I thought, I hope the pizza hasn’t changed!
It has changed, drastically, and for the worst. The Mantu btw is an excellent Afghani restaurant, I highly recommend, but whatever change they made to the pizza is unfortunate.
I wish they’d just flat out change the name of the restaurant if they’re gonna change everything except the prices.
Guess it’s back to Franco’s for legit ny style
