Went after concert for a bite to eat and they have turned waffle house to carry out only after dinner. This is little crazy to me who wants a soggy carry out waffle. Very disappointed after 30 years of waffle house post concert and days off on night shift that is no more. With the airport being so close and no other restaurants open this is an odd choice that I really don't understand. The staff where all just sitting in a booth. I ended up going home and making food for everyone. So I can't really rate the food on this trip since we didn't get any.

Cleanest Waffle House I've ever been to, and the food was good! Lil internet joke, lol. In all seriousness, this Waffle House was great! The staff was engaging by asking all of the out of town basketball players about their games while still maintaining other patrons. If we ever come back to Richmond, we will definitely stop by this Waffle House. I think my son likes going back to tell everyone that his team won so he can get some cheers 😁. He's 12. Keep up the great work, everyone!

So the saying goes in the south there’s a Waffle House on every corner. Haha. It’s true. We chose this one and glad we did. Greeted by two lovely waitresses. Sat at the counter to enjoy the real experience of a Waffle House. Ordered our food and was quickly served ! Food was hot and correct the city ham and cheese with a side of hash browns was delicious. The waffle was amazing and the eggs and steak were very good. The entire staff was so pleasant and friendly. Amazing service and great value for the amount of food served ! Make sure to stop in and say hi to these great people. Don’t forget to tip your waitress Carrie! She was terrific! Oh and grab an iconic Waffle House coffee mug for home!

I avoided Waffle House for many years after one too many drunken college nights eating greasy food and it not agreeing with me😂😅
This Waffle House location has made me a believer again. I think this is the best Waffle House I’ve ever visited and for sure one of the most well-run restaurants I’ve seen; they definitely run a tight ship. The staff is friendly and give you great service; they all seem to work well together and serve the restaurant as a team and you can tell they all have a passion for what they do. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean and well-maintained. Most importantly the food! The food was delicious and not too greasy! I had zero flashbacks to the college drinking days and enjoyed every bite!

I came in yesterday and ordered a biscuit . the cook was making my food, she was really sweet! but then the manager in the black shirt comes as she’s making my food and start telling her to take stuff off my sandwich while i’m right there. I guess the cook used an another piece of bacon, the manager start taking the bacon off after the cook already started preparing the biscuit. i ignored that but I was watching the entire thing. then she questions the cook about how many eggs was used. I finally asked her why is she taking apart my whole biscuit??? she say she correcting the cook and threatened to charge me extra. I say all that to say, correct your staff on your own time not with customers watching! nobody wants their food played with after it already started getting prepared
Vibes are immaculate Store is very clean. Employees are friendly and fun - they had a little music sesh during our meal and I could tell the employees have good comraderie. If I lived in Richmond this would be my go-to Waffle House, but I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town. Might even go as far to say it’s the best experience at any Waffle House I’ve been to.
