I was hoping that over the years the menu would change. Best Mussels in town, but stops there. Wife loved her scallops but my steak was well below average. No real taste and tough. Left half uneaten.. My last try.

This was our first experience at West Coast, and I can assure you we will be back. All 3 of us had a fish dish, and they were cooked to perfection. The waiter remembered some of the questions we had asked and told the chef of our preferences. The wait time was more than reasonable, and we did not feel pressured at all. We eat at West Coast Provisions for the raw oysters and small plates. Always good! We also love to split the donut dessert. Perfectly warm and crispy donuts, fruit including glazed orange rind and almonds and a oh so tasty sauce! Service is always really efficient and servers are efficient.

Delicious food. Our server was extremely friendly, patient and attentive! The menu has quite the vast selection of seafood. Raw Chesapeake oysters and the octopus were spot on. Only lamentation is the noise level, it's a very wide open space so voices carry. I was speaking pretty loudly for a good portion of my stay. I would still eat here again regardless!

Visited this location for Brunch on Father's Day. This is now one of my favorite spots in Richmond. The food was outstanding and the waiter was fun and efficient. We want to come back and try the seafood tower as soon as we can!

The salmon was served almost raw. We asked to have it cooked more, and the multiple pieces were in the same spot on the plate appearing to have been microwaved. It didn’t taste properly and it was left uneaten.

We sat on the patio and it was very nice. The food was great My only complaint was that I felt the waitress rushed us a little. When she arrived at our table she immediately asked if we were ready to order. She didn't ask if we'd like to start off with something to drink. Otherwise it was a good experience.

Lump crab app was amazing! While it was good, the tuna on the crispy rice roll was very disappointing. Especially for the price!
Cool spot, fresh, colorful and innovative dishes. Nice cocktails and good selection of well curated wines. Great service from my server. They take their posted closing time very seriously, turning up all of the lights to high and making dramatic gestures indicating to guests that it is time to leave.

Our party of six enjoyed a lovely mid-afternoon lunch on the patio. Service was prompt, very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed several excellent appetizers including ahi tuna tacos, shaved octopus and the best mussels on the planet!
Entree’s we enjoyed were Tuna Poke Bowl, Fried Grouper Sandwich with pickled pineapple just to name a couple. All of us enjoyed our visit and look forward to going again!

Overall, the food was good but there were several areas that could use improvement: 1) The Broccolini which could not be substituted was very tough, not what we expected; 2) the fact that bread was an add-on really wasn't what you would expect in an upscale dining experience;; 3) prices were representative of a very upscale restaurant, which this doesn't fit this bill; 4) one of our friends ordered the same dish I ordered and they both came out with the fish (rockfish ) looking like one was over cooked and the other cooked more correct; 5) although the desert was tasty (lava cake) the portion of gelato was quite small that accompanied the cake; 6) my friend ordered a beer and the glass was really small, again not what you would expect As i initially indicated, food was a little more than just okay (not excellent), service was average, and prices are on the above average price scale. My wife and I have eaten at many international fine dining establishments and this restaurant cannot be rated 5 stars, maybe 3.5 -4. I don't mind paying a little more but would expect something better in return for what you were charged.
