Over priced for burgers and sandwiches. Acoustics are horrible. Like sitting in front of a airplane engine while running!

Overall very good. I had a shrimp taco that was really very small, in comparison with all of the others at my table and at the surrounding tables. But otherwise very good.

We've been to this location six times and the food is really good; and I believe you get good value for your money. Unfortunately, the service is poor. On a previous visit, we waited so long to be served, we had to go back to the hostess and ask her to find us a waiter. On today's visit, we waited so long for someone to even acknowledge us that we got up and left. Tables seated 15-20 minutes after we arrived already had their orders taken, and we hadn't even been asked for drinks. There were three waiters in the area going back and forth and not a single one even made eye contact with us. It's almost like we were invisible. It's not just the waiters. The hostesses always seem put out when we arrive. It's not that they're rude. They're just unfriendly and unwelcoming.

My friends and I celebrated another friend at W&I tonight. We took up a 10 top until last call, and our server Brian was gracious and attentive the entire time. This man is a blessing to the restaurant.

I had lunch with a friend last Friday. This was the first time for me. Our service was perfect & this was with a girl in training. I had the Crispy Cobb Salad & added grilled chicken. It was delicious & I ate half & took the other home. Large, great salad. I am anxious to go again with my husband. I know he'll enjoy it. Pat

I like this Wood & Iron location so much more than Scott's Addition. Located on the western fringe of Short Pump in the Wegman's shopping center, this Wood & Iron is spacious and quiet enough that you can actually hear your friends. I visited with a couple of friends recently, and we sat at a high top in the bar area. Service was friendly and prompt, and the food was delicious. The only small hiccup was that I requested just ranch dressing for my wedge salad, and my friend requested just balsamic dressing, and both of our salads were topped with both dressings. They fixed it when addressed. We also split the dip trio, and I enjoyed all three dips (guac, queso, and salsa). For my meal, I had the steak and cheese flat iron, which is my W&I go-to. It was tasty. I'd definitely return.

Sports bars do not get much better than this. Monday was wings day, 5 for $5. I got two orders, one of sriracha honey and one of the Cajun dry rub. And these were good sized wings, not dinky national chain sized wings! The wings are smoked, and they also grilled them for an extra dollar. Really good. The drink list is quite impressive. They have an extensive draft beer list, but their spirits are where they shine. Happy hour is 2-7 every weekday, and many cocktails are half off. The crushes and smashes are probably my favorite. The mojito crush with rum, fresh limes, and mint is fantastic and well balanced. I also got an orange crush, a standard drink for Virginia Beach. This one was fine. Also the lemonade crush with bourbon took a little getting used to with the sour flavor. But the more I drank of it, the more I liked it. The feel of the long bar is classy, but approachable. The baskets of fresh citrus are a good sign that the cocktails are of high quality. I did meet a cool girl at the bar, maybe I should have asked for her number! Oh well.

This is one of my favorite places in the area . My only complaint is the drinks could be stronger and the sprinkle of shredded lettuce you’re given for burgers . Like this is not for a salad ?Parking: Can be difficult but you’re usually able to find some a little further down from the restaurant

Solid place, food has been outstanding every time. The few miscues the staff had, someone else picked it right up without me asking (forgot to bring a side, small things). Only downside is that is that it's always busy, but who can blame them!

The bartender was awesome! I had the shrimp tacos. My only criticism is that there is a lot of breading on the shrimp.
