Was craving some Chinese and came here based on the reviews. The hot and sour soup was very bland and had - what appeared to be - canned mushrooms in it. Fried dumplings had a very strange tough and chewy filling.

I’m giving this place a poor review because there was a paper wrapper for a straw in my wife’s meal. When we told the waiter, he said he would take her meal off the check. The owner would not agree to take her meal off the bill because in his mind, the wrapper was dry therefore it was not cooked in her dish. He gave us $5 off the bill and nothing else. Apparently he is the new owner, and this is our first visit under his management. There was a notable decrease in the quality of the food. The hot and sour soup was thin and watery, the vegetable eggroll was tasteless, and the beef in the beef and broccoli was tough and try. Needless to say, there are several other Chinese places within walking distance of Yen Ching. But I will not be back.

My address now reads Yen Ching's, and Ive eaten at this restaurant before. I think it was takeout. Somebody has been stealing from my credit cards. Could it be someone using their Internet?

Unfortunately, I could not find one redeeming quality about this food. I have no complaints about the service at all.

I was a few minutes late picking up my order, so I expected the food may get cold or a bit soggy, and I was prepared for that.

This duck was an inedible beige nightmare with the ever so slight taste of rot?

The dumplings were not much better, but I could at least eat them.

The shrimp toast was not to my taste but I do believe that was more that I was looking for the ultra processed terrible for you version and in this one you can still tell that the shrimp was once shrimp.

I have never before seen fried rice that looked or tasted like this. No veg, hard bits mixed with mush, and I may be crazy but it just tasted like soy sauce.

My husband gave his meal a 4 out of 10, so edible. He got the sesame chicken and something else I can't recall right now.

I 100% would not be so critical of this experience if it wasn't $80. Wild choice!

I feel like I was duped by a 4.4 star Google raiting. I obviously ordered the wrong items, how could 600 people be so wildly incorrect? I will not be returning to find out.

I ordered garlic shrimp and broccoli w/egg drop soup. Not impressed at all the noodles were stale. The shrimp were over cooked, they were tougher than what I get at yen Cheng on the south side. $23.00 waisted I wish I had walked out when he told me that they weren’t associated with yen Cheng . This was a takeout

The food was good. I thought my order was wrong and they had to fix it, but that’s OK… The service was good and it usually is and the atmosphere just lay back nothing special about it. I would definitely recommend this restaurant as I’ve had bad experience there.

We ordered delivery from Yen Ching last night and were so impressed—as always! The orange chicken, chicken with broccoli, egg rolls, and soup were all delicious. Generous portions, fresh ingredients, and high-quality, tender white meat chicken really set it apart. Delivery was faster than the quoted time, and the customer service was excellent. Yen Ching continues to be one of our go-tos for Chinese food. Highly recommend!
