👍🏾 Been coming to Yen Ching for years. The only Chinese Restaurant I go to. Food is delicious.

Been going here maybe 40 years. It's always good, staff is friendly, food is really good and service is usually quick - depends on size of crowd. I like non spicy food and they will make any of the hot dishes less spicy if you ask.

$17 for 15 pieces of General Tso’s chicken on a bed of lettuce (??) and a bowl of cold rice. And the “hot pepper sauce” on the General Tso’s wasn’t even spicy. The chicken was crunchy however and served warm although it would have helped if they served it on the rice instead of lettuce. The waitress was nice but only spoke to my boyfriend and only checked on us once. She did take care of our leftovers in takeout boxes.

All in all, I wouldn’t recommend or go back just for the price and quality. I can’t recommend cold rice and over a dollar per chicken nugget covered in the least spicy GT sauce I’ve ever had.

Terrible experience. There were bugs crawling on the wall right next to my table, and it completely ruined my meal. The staff didn’t seem surprised or concerned, which made it even worse. I lost my appetite and left early. Definitely won’t be returning.

Was craving some Chinese and came here based on the reviews. The hot and sour soup was very bland and had - what appeared to be - canned mushrooms in it. Fried dumplings had a very strange tough and chewy filling.

I’m giving this place a poor review because there was a paper wrapper for a straw in my wife’s meal. When we told the waiter, he said he would take her meal off the check. The owner would not agree to take her meal off the bill because in his mind, the wrapper was dry therefore it was not cooked in her dish. He gave us $5 off the bill and nothing else. Apparently he is the new owner, and this is our first visit under his management. There was a notable decrease in the quality of the food. The hot and sour soup was thin and watery, the vegetable eggroll was tasteless, and the beef in the beef and broccoli was tough and try. Needless to say, there are several other Chinese places within walking distance of Yen Ching. But I will not be back.
