I’ve tried lots of bubble tea and milk tea and matcha milk shakes around Richmond area, this place has it’s own Zen vibe! I loved the shake, and there boba is different from the others, less sugar and more fluffy! Also, there ice cream ( shaved ice) is really a unique experience! #OMARating: 8/10!

I’m a boba addict and this is my favorite boba shop in rva !! The tapioca pearls are always consistently soft and chewy. Friendly service in a small cute quaint atmosphere. My favorites are thai tea, green thai tea, taro, and the yogurt refreshers!

I’ve tried just about every bubble tea place in Richmond and this one is my favorite by far! I always get the brown sugar bubble tea. The texture of the boba is just right and it’s a favorite weekly treat after visiting New Grand Mart for groceries next door. The drinks are a little on the sweeter side, which I like but I know isn’t for everyone so you can ask them for it less sweet if you prefer. I can’t recommend this place enough!

The boba at Zen Cafe was excellent, but there was a synthetic aftertaste in my drink that caused me to reduce my rating. Also, I learned to not get the normal range of sugar was too much. Given the large amount of bubble tea shops in the area, I am not compelled to return.

I have tried one drink of each category and have loved it each time. Additionally, the "snow" dessert is absolutely amazing and super creamy. I would best describe the "snow" dessert as shaved icecream. Moreover, the boba shop has a pleasant atmosphere that is cozy and comfortable. In addition, the location has both indoor and outdoor seating. Furthermore, the location has a punch card, which incentivizes customers, such as myself, to be more loyal as you'll earn a free reward after a certain amount of punches. The punch card is located at the front of the cashier area. Overall, I would recommend this boba shop if you're looking for quality boba and a unique creamy dessert.
Love mango fruit refresher with strawberry popping boba cold with no ice!! Prices are more affordable than kung Fu

I love this cafe, its pretty. The staff is nice, it has fast service and everything about this cafe is positive. I love the food, especially taro. Its really good and full of flavor:D I would recommend this cafe if anyone would like to try boba. One thing i find sweet is that the staff remember my order, i always order taro with boba and whipped cream and its nice for someone to remember what you order. I love this cafe and i would recommend it! 5 stars<3

Tried the earl gray milk tea here and thought it was decent. It definitely had a good tea flavor which a lot of places I feel like don't. The boba was just alright though, it didn't have the bounciness that I've grown to expect from great boba places. Overall would come back if I needed a boba fix but wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

I got the mango bingsu and chose the lychee jelly and boba as my two toppings. It would be nice if they offered some fruit as topping options and gave less of each topping but allowed more than two options per bowl.
