Quality of food is not same as it used to be. Don't order any kind of Dosa here. It just tastes like batter.

The food was not good at all and did not meet expectations. I was very disappointed with the Mini Tiffin, especially considering the positive reviews I had read beforehand.

I went to this place in DC area with my family of four for a brunch this morning. We ordered a cheese dosa, a ghee roast, a Mysore masala dosa, 1 plate idly, 1 plate medhu vada, and a filter coffee ( beverage). All the dishes came with Sambar, coconut chutney, and tomato chutney on the side. In addition, there was also idli podi (milagai podi) with all of them except the Vada.
We were all pleasantly surprised when all the dishes arrived relatively quickly (5-7 mins). We were all impressed. Upon receiving the dishes we noticed a couple of things immediately. The quantity of the sides, especially the chutneys and milagai podi were tiny (max 1 -1.5 teaspoon). The other thing we noticed was all the dosas were at room temp or colder. Even the masala in the Mysore masala dosa was barely warm.
The dosas tasted ok. They were low on salt and barely eatable. The masala filling was tasting weird. The Vada dough was a bit sour. It felt like the dough was from left overs form
The previous day. The idly was under cooked.
The sambar was clearly not fresh. There was no aroma emanating from the sambar and it was super viscous: the worst was coconut chutney. It tasted as if it was made from dried coconuts it had a weird smell. This is the only restaurant in my life where I have seen tomato chutney was bad. Low on salt and taste. They even messed up the milagai podi. One could have mistaken it for chilli paste served in Chinese restaurants. And finally the filter coffee was definitely made of instant coffee powder. I could see the powder floating on top. Coffee also tasted bad.
Overall the experience was pathetic. I have eaten in several A2Bs and this was clearly the worst. Never going back there again. If I were you, I would stay away from this place.

Great food...everything we ordered was delicious and authentic! Has become a bit pricey though but definitely worth it
If you’re a fan of Chaat, their Chaat really isn’t worth it!
