We hired Amphora for our wedding in NOVA and we are so happy we did. We worked with Xochitl for many months and she was always helpful and responsive. Their pricing is clear and fair, and the team was very flexible with our last minute guest count changes. The team was well staffed and efficient on the wedding day itself. All the food they served was literally amazing. It got seriously rave reviews from our guests and everything we got to eat was so good. They packed up the leftovers for us, but our guests loved it so much that there wasn't much left over! Cannot recommend them enough.

They are a preferred caterer of our venue & we could see why. Xochitl the manager put our minds at rest as soon as we made contact with her. She stepped in many times where our PT coordinator who was acting as if she was just the day of should have - but Xochitl had the upmost patience & professionalism. I had so many questions & she was able to answer all of them quickly. They accommodated our guests with dietary restrictions easily. Everything went to smoothly despite the unexpected windy & drizzling day causing a last minute cocktail hour location change. All of our guests were extremely happy & raved about the crab cake apps, the marinated flank steak, salmon & fingerling potatoes especially. When the rain caused us to have to take our photography session inside, they brought appetizers directly to us twice. We felt so taken care of & at ease thanks to them. The bartenders & servers were always smiling & on the move for our guests. We are forever grateful to Amphora!!

I went to buy a cake, brownie and croissant today 04/08, and the croissant was hard and had funny flavor, went back to get my money back but they gave me other croissant instead and they stated once you step out from the store is not their responsibility, so I'm supposed to taste everything in the store before I leave, this is the worst customer service EVER - so bad all dry and who knows for how long that has been sitting there

I knew when my daughter and her fiancĂ© decided to get married at their home with a small group of family members in attendance that I wanted to make the evening especially memorable for them. I remembered Amphora Catering from when they used to do our banquets for a large organization I belonged to and decided to call and see if they could do a small dinner party for 12. The answer was âyes.â Xochitl Gutierrez was wonderful to work with! She helped me choose the perfect menu complete with a wonderful roast. The price was extremely reasonable especially considering the distance involved in delivering the food from Herndon to Lovettsville. The delivery person set up things for us before he left and made sure the food items that needed to be kept warm were placed in the oven at just the right temperature. When it came time to eat, the whole dinner was FABULOUS! It was obvious that our small dinner party received the same dedication and attention to detail that Amphora gives much larger events! Thank you, Xochtli and Amphora for helping to make our daughter and her husbandâs special day perfect!
