A true diner, with its multi-page, extensive selections menu. Their breakfast and in particular fluffy pancakes, eggs with home fries are great comfort food. The omelets are actually stuffed, with whatever filing you choose. Also, have gone in the evening to try their selection of specials that change weekly. I am only annoyed, that I have not been going there sooner as I have lived in the area for years.

We couldn’t any better from Amphora and Xóchitl! Amphora came in clutch when our first vendor we thought we would go with didn’t pan out to be all that and having to book Amphora basically a month out from our wedding. She was able to answer back our emails and inquiring a quote EXTREMELY quick which we needed and everything was out of this world. From the moment we met Xóchitl and from when she arrived for our wedding we loved her being our caterer. She was so attentive to what our wants and needs were for the wedding and it was a flawless execution throughout the process. For anyone needed a cater for ANY event they should go to Amphora! The tenderloin and salmon options is our favorites among their menu at the time. We really thank you guys for giving us the most perfect experience for not only us but for our guests too! We loved it all ❤️

This is one of the best kept secrets in NoVa! True diner with an an expansive menu - quality ingredients, perfectly prepared and a doting staff. Add to that that they feed their desert menu from their state of the art bakery a couple miles away!! A must visit restaurant !!!!
Sure, it's dated in terms of diners in general and the US culture moving towards super fast food and instant gratification. Even if you don't have patience and are able to wait 10 to 15 minutes for your order, I highly recommend Amphora. The food was amazing and super tasty, and I will be back to try at least 60 percent of this menu (the menu is huge and vast, but that does not mean quality is sacrificed). Try this place at least once; I forgot to take a picture before diving into my plate. My baklava pancakes were on point 💯.

Just went here with my boyfriend after searching for a good diner and we were not disappointed! The service was very friendly and speedy. The breakfast items were delicious, so make sure you get the baklava pancakes!!!! I also got the French dip sandwich just to see how their lunch items were and I have to say it was the best one I've had around here! The serving sizes were very good and we had to grab a box to take the leftovers home. We are very excited to come back and try more of the menu! Definitely recommend!!!!
