Our family of 6 enjoyed 4 meals at Amphora's Diner Deluxe over our vacation. Dennis was our server twice and he is amazing. Each time our food was delicious and left us satisfied for our long days in DC. We might not be back again but we will recommend from afar in CT. Thank you again!!
Like an old-style Greek Diner. Being from NYC, I am a Greek diner afficionado. This diner fits the bill... Huge menu, well sized portions, and authentic staff! I appreciated this place for what it is. You will not be disappointed.

Food was delicious however the server only saw us like 3 times 1 for drinks 1 for the food and 1 other time. Wasn't busy so not sure why the wait between checks was so long. Other than that great place.

We went there for brunch. The food was ok. The service was really slow. Our server showed no interest of serving or helping us. We had to look for the server for a refill on our coffee. We waited for 15 mins for the server to show up to get the check. Finally, we got tired and decided to walk towards the register to get the check and pay for our food. I doubt we will visit again.

It's depressing in there, there was a roach and when I brought it to the waiter's attention, he killed it and kept it moving. Not once did they come back around after that to apologize... I'm dumbfounded.

I’ve lived in Herndon for 4 years and was not aware this diner existed. It’s by happenstance we discovered it after a long bike ride, by googling “breakfast near me “.Thanks to Steve we were able to secure our bicycles. He offered to put them in storage while we dined at the diner.I ordered the Mediterranean omelette and it was very delicious.This is now one of my new favorite breakfast spots.

While it took a little longer than expected to get my online pick-up order ready, the staff graciously gave me a complimentary coffee and cookie while I waited. The "diner bar" area was also well-laid out. Food selection is decent, and while it seems like the menu doesn't have a strong Greek theme due to so much more American influence, it is represented well with goat cheese, pita bread, baklava, and spanakopita.

Excellent experience. Got here about 20-30 min before they closed (midnight on a Sunday night) and they swiftly sat and served me. The menu is massive, it's a proper diner. My server Ismail very gently let me know the kitchen was going to close soon but when he saw me rushing thru the menu he told me to take my time--metaphorically, of course. Excellent way to take care of a customer when closing time is coming up. The kitchen had my to-go order out within 5-10 minutes and I got the biggest piece of baklava I've ever had.Brandon was great too.Vegetarian options: Not many veg options and to my dismay they were not marked which made it particularly difficult bc the menu is so massive.
