Its decent place if you want to catch a quick bite. Its self service and food wasn't all that was hyped about. Masala chai was decent. Pav bhaji thr quantity was very less for the price they charge but decent taste. Sev puri wasn't all that good. Also we checked the receipt and they charge 2 different taxes to the customer which I have never seen before in any restuarant bills. One is the regular one that every restuarant charges and they also charged the town of herndon tax. I wonder what that is and why do they charge us. Anyways overall not the chaat place I was expecting it to be.

The place was very good and budget friendly.
Only issue was that the curries were a little blend…
But overall an amazing experience
Samosa PAV was the best

Chaatwala is hands down one of the best spots in Herndon for authentic Indian food! The chaats are amazing – super fresh, flavorful, and just the right amount of spice. The dosas are perfectly crispy, and the curries are rich and delicious. The staff is really friendly, service is quick, and the portions are generous. You can tell they put a lot of care into the food and it shows in every bite. If you’re looking for great Indian street food and comfort dishes in Northern Virginia, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend! Maja aa gaya!!!

Chaatwala has all the chaats you want. This is my second visit to this place. The vada pav is out of this world. I always order Dahi Puri, and it was perfect last time. This time, it was too tangy. It's a lovely place to hang out with girlfriends.
