The food was just meh. I ordered a couple of chaat items. Both of them had less salt and very less taste of the spices.
The people were really sweet and the place itself was good.
We went for lunch. We ordered Puri bhaji. We just loved it. Baturas were great but chholle could be more spicy.
This just might be my favorite restaurant. It always smells incredible when you come in and the food is absolutely delicious and so full of flavor. I've tried a few dishes and each has been something I could easily recommend anyone to try. The chai masala (tea) is also wonderful.
The staff are so nice and charming. I always feel welcome. I would love to see this business thrive and be around for a long time. They deserve it!
Thank you for such a wonderful meal every time, Chaatwala staff. Please keep doing what you're doing ❤️
I had paratha and a cup of chai for breakfast, and it was excellent. Staff were extremely friendly.
Channa bhatura was perfect and not even spicy!! Awesome !
Plenty of seating but the restroom could be better stocked. Better toilet paper and plenty of it etc would make a world of difference..
It's a neighborhood restaurant with the street foods from different regions of India.
We ordered a bunch of stuff and were happy with most of the things. I had the pani poori, vada pav and the Bangalore Dosa alongwith a namkeen lassi(salted yogurt drink).
The table also ordered some tikki,
sev puri, and masala soda.
I think the masala soda was the only disappointment...but everything else was very flavorful.
Enjoyed our experience. Shall be coming back with my son for the vada pav !!
We loved aalo ka paratha and chaat here
It's very good experience of authentic south Indian taste we enjoy it
Being from Bangalore, I love Masala Puri. It was very authentic and I ate it to my satisfaction. Dosa was also very tasty.
The owner spoke to us and enquired about the quality and service. Would definitely recommend this place.
Absolutely LOVED the chaat and masala dosa. Truly authentic taste that took us straight back to the streets of Bangalore ❤️
And the cherry on the top was the masala chai and moong dal halwa!
Restaurantji Recommends
Awesome food, a real sense of nostalgia and warmth that affirms the uniqueness and diversity of Indian cuisine. The dosas and masala puri / dahi puri taste exactly like it does back home in Bangalore! The mung dal halwa is delicious and a must have. All of this is best paired with filter coffee.
Nice ambience and very delicious chaats, cholle Bhature, kulcha cholle, Dahi puri and falooda kulfi.. their masala soda’s are awesome and worth a try !!
The quality of the Indian fast food at this restaurant was bad. We had ordered pav bhaji, Vada pav, and samosa chole/chaat and got very disappointed. I never ever had this kind of worst Vada pav in my whole life. The potato filling in it was probably straight from freezer or older than 2-3 days. It was cold when they served to us. It was same with pav bhaji, it tasted like 2-3 days or probably a week older and they just heated it up in the microwave and served it to us. We felt like dumping it into the trash in front of their eyes. It was so tasteless and poor quality. It’s overly priced and unjustifiable. The food is totally substandard and won’t recommend this restaurant to anyone.
It was our first visit so we asked the owner what to order, and his recommendations were great! Food was so delicious, and very reasonably priced for the portion size
Authentic and super tasty food! They also have Jain options with all vegetarian menu! Must visit!
