Genuinely, some of the worst American Chinese I've had.

I walked into Chen's Kitchen to place a to-go order and instantly thought the place looked very run down and dirty. Each step I took there was a loud, gross noise made as whatever sticky grime was on the floor would stick to my shoe. All that combined with a strange odor in the store and somewhat rude service led to me leave before even finishing placing my order. If what they're showing the public is that dirty, I wouldn't want to know what their kitchen looks like. One last thing, I rarely leave bad reviews and am not a food snob at all. I felt this deserved to be written about though.

The food is ok. Chicken and broccoli, Lo Mein, string beans in garlic sauce. All were ok but veggies could have been more fresh and the flavors were relatively bland.

It seems the bad reviews were mostly take out orders. I have eaten here take out and the food is great. Classic Chinese food and good prices. I enjoyed it and will be going back.

I got the pork pad Thai with a honey chicken wing app. Loved every bite! These wings are a hidden gem - huge, crispy, and delicious!

I ordered for delivery. Ribs are not the same type as in picture. Chicken is much worse than Panda Express. Both ribs and chicken are not fresh, very hard and taste bad. Total waste of money. Will never try again.

There’s another reviewer here that says “ignore the 3.7 star ratings and review, this place is at least a 4.5.” That person is right!Food is solid and it’s priced well. They use good ingredients.Don’t sleep on it.I got takeout - the beef chow fun was great!Take it from me, I’m Asian and I’m from LA.

I was out and about and in the mood for Chinese takeout and Chen's Kitchen was just a 1/2 mile away so I said let me swing by and give them a try. I was greeted as soon as J entered and they have their menu on a large flatscreen that's right at the counter which made deciding on what to order easier than it typically is with traditional paper menus or with the picture menus on the walls. I ordered Moo Goo Gai Pan and Steamed Chicken & Broccoli both with Brown Rice. I was told it would take 10 minutes and it was ready right on time. I took the food home to eat and I must say that Chen's Kitchen gives my usual Chinese takeout restaurant a run for its money so I will definitely be ordering from them again!

You know the food is going to be good when there is a highschool student taking your order and a baby in the dining area. Ignore the 3.7 star Google has for them they are at least 4.5

First time here and ordered the beef on a stick appetizer. It was very delicious. Perfectly seasoned, juicy, tender and flavorful without the oily or over-salted experience I've had at other Chinese restaurants. Was very happy! Looking forward to trying other items, as I as in a rush so just picked something quick. The woman at the front desk was extremely kind and polite. I would have eaten there had I had more time. It is a very comfortable place to just sit and enjoy a meal. Will definitely return.

I have ordered from this place via DoorDash and this has happened to me twice now that my food has taken literally almost 2 hours to to be cooked, picked up and delivered. It’s literally the restaurant who cannot seem to push Chinese food out from their kitchen to the delivery person and out the door in less than an hour. Literally 3/4 door dash drivers have declined because they could not wait for the order to be done. So it’s either the restaurant dislikes taking care of DoorDash orders immediately or they could be busy, or they could be short staff, or they could just not care less about their deliver orders being on time. When I called them, all they could ask me if my two previous orders occurred on Fridays, and then they only apologized only to tell me they see the door dash driver standing here and they’ll get my order out. And nothing more no offer to discount for being delayed, rather they offered 15% discount next order as if I want to order again next time to use the discount but my food is going to be 2 hours late AGAIN! It’s not worth to spend money on food, plus the fees, plus tipping DoorDash, only to wait for 2 hours of large hot and sour soup, general Tso chicken and 8 pieces of dumplings. Two hours to wait for door dash order to arrive.

Allergy friendly options.Very large portions for a reasonable cost.Food was delicious and the staff was very courteous.Nice take out and delivery restaurant with a seating area for anyone who wants to sit and eat inside or sit and wait while their food is being prepared. This is right off a major street with ample parking available.Dietary restrictions: They have allergy friendly options.
