They are the worst. I have beemcustomer for few years now. I walked in and the guy with beard and cap is the one who is the rudest person there. I always ask for fresh chicken and I dont mind waiting and I dont like people lieing. They have me cold food. And also over charge me for extra quater chicken. Won't be coming back anymore with that kind of attitude

Horrible first experience couldn’t even order food. I asked for steak taco’s and got stared at like I asked for a pot of gold, and not by just one but by 4 different employees. I asked the First Lady in English as she greeted well in English. She then looked confused and started to have a quiet dialogue with the Second Lady in Spanish so I figured maybe she doesn’t speak much English. Then as the Second Lady ask me what I want I then asked her for Steak Tacos and the same thing happened. Lol I swear the next two employees look like deer in headlights and one more asked what do you want… lol at this point I think I missed the underlined meaning of their “what do you wants”. Clearly ny money isn’t welcomed here, so my son and I happily went elsewhere!

4.2 stars is absolutely appalling for this gem. I moved away from Herndon in 2021 and have dreams about this chicken, rice and macaroni and cheese. This is the best Peruvian chicken I’ve ever had and I have searched the US over for any chicken that compares. I will be back ASAP. I miss you, Chicken Rico!

Chicken Rico serves up the most incredible Peruvian-style food! We ordered fried rice, chicken, plantains, and yuca, and every bite was bursting with authentic flavors. The rotisserie chicken was tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection with that signature Peruvian spice blend. The fried rice was rich and savory, a perfect pairing with the chicken.
The plantains were sweet, caramelized, and perfectly cooked, while the yuca was crispy on the outside and wonderfully soft on the inside – a true highlight of the meal. Everything was so fresh and flavorful, showcasing the best of Peruvian cuisine.
If you’re craving a meal that’s as comforting as it is delicious, Chicken Rico is the place to go. We’ll absolutely be back for more!
