Food was very delicious but could be served with better care. The restaurant is going through renovation so does not hold the correct dinning out experience & ambience. Hoping next time we visit its completed repairs & ready. Because of remodeling the food doesn't retain its display or freshness.

Vegetarian options: Chole Puri and Dahi Puri

We ordered mutton biryani, and it was terrible. I know it was already cooked, but at least they reheat it properly. However, this biryani was the worst the mutton pieces were like rubber, completely inedible. I highly do not recommend this location.
Better find another restaurant guys.

Double egg Noodles were too oily I requested for some modifications with little bit less oil ( A GUY IN FRONT Desk KIND OF SHORT ). Behaved very harshly with his replies

Terrible Mutton haleem, it was definitely not fresh. It was a pickup order, after coming home it took me some time to get the haleem out of the to-go box because it was glued to the box from inside. The staff had no ethics, he hung up on me while placing the order and didn’t allow me to finish what I was saying. Initially I thought the place was busy but after getting their I realized that they just don’t care about their customers. I really don’t recommend anyone getting haleem here until the season is over.

Horrible food—no taste, overly oily biryani, and too pricey. The goat meat and chicken in the biryani are too bony. Highly disappointed.

The food taste and quality at Chowrasta has gone down recently. The biryani taste used to be unique and the closest to that we find in India. But, the goat biryani that we ordered today was very bland, the meat was dry, the rice was not flavored at all and it was filled with fried onions. All we could smell and taste for the masala was fried onions. It definitely did not feel like a professional chef made it. We also ordered butter chicken which was again very bland and tasteless. I called the restaurant before writing this review to give feedback and their response was just “OK”.

We order chicken fry pulao and boneless chicken pulao, Irani chai, haleem. All the food we tried here is up to the mark. Whenever we are in Virginia we will stop by for a quick grab for the road. Definitely recommend this restaurant. 🍽️👍
