Artisan bread that has limited but good quality breads.

Really enjoy the different types of bread. Who knew apple scrapple was a thing. Scones, cinnamon rolls, and cookies also very good. I especially like the yeasty flavor and density of the white bread. Makes simple things like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches special.

If you are planning on getting rolls for a holiday meal I suggest placing an order early. They do have a mostly gluten free bread on certain days. I say mostly because bread not made with wheat flour but it is made in bakery that has wheat flour in it.

We relocated to Texas and miss this location… when we returned to the area on holiday, we made a special point to drop by. The breads and treats are always great, but the staff went above and beyond and deserve special kudos.

STAY AWAY - OVERPRICED, WAY OVERPRICED

I bought two tiny 5 inch round loaves and a chocolate chip cookie, $20.00. The bread tasted undercooked and cookie was plain, nothing special. There's a bakery around the corner next to the bike shop, go there.

This is one of our favorite bakeries in the area. They also have employees who consistently provide excellent service like Adam who helped me with my order today

I'm new to the area and dropped by after eating lunch at a nearby restaurant thinking I'd pick up a nice rustic sourdough loaf for the week. My first impression was poor. I was the only prospective customer in the store and there were 3-4 staff present; nobody welcomed me in or offered assistance. The layout isn't great, with customers relegated to this narrow L-shaped area around the counter. I didn't see many loaves for sale - mainly cakes, cookies and other treats. I picked up a bag of biscotti (butterscotch IIRC) and was disappointed to see they use yellow number 5 coloring and other artificial ingredients. Not sure what the point is in buying local if you get served the same junk that the big industrial bakers pump their stuff full of! I ended up leaving without buying anything. Nobody said a word to me as I left.

The bread is pretty good and we had been going here for years. The samples are a fun way to try new and different types. However, the prices aren’t listed and can be very unreasonably high, so make sure to ask before assuming they will charge a reasonable amount. We were recently charged $10 for a miniature (not full sized!) plain sourdough loaf that wasn’t anything special. It is a pet peeve of mine when prices aren’t listed — in this case, it seems, because they are very high. Unfortunately, we’ll be looking for a new bakery to frequent.

This used to be a great bakery. Now they often don't bake everyday items like baguettes or sourdough or rolls. Today I couldn't get a baguette they had dozens of king cakes. (It's only February 21) I've also found things like the cinnamon scones (which used to be very good) undercooked. I can't see wasting my time at this business anymore. There are plenty of other good bakeries.

The bread and scones are good but not great. The price is high, expect $9 or so for a loaf.

Having come here for years, since the first owner for the high quality but over priced bread, I have found the new owners to be rude, disinterested and unhelpful. Real shame.
