Love this cute, hidden coffee shop! Amazing coffee, yummy treats, and lovely staff. Def recommend this place as a coffee lover and local resi!
Yes, it’s a great bike shop, but they also have the BEST Lattes in Herndon / Reston area (we’ve tried them all!) and my favorite smoothies. Love the community atmosphere and if you need anything bike related, you can’t find a nicer, more informative team! But, you don’t have to bike to love the lizard…. Stop By!
Overcharged for services I did not ask for or approve-- after many services here, I'm pretty sure these mechanics either don't know what they are doing or do not care.
The girl behind the register at the cafe was incredibly rude.
Best espresso shop on the W&OD!
The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They were attentive. The reason I didn’t give a 5 star is the pretentiousness the repair guy acted around my son and I. We bought a gently used second hand excellent road bike as a starter and it was very well maintain. There were a few adjustments without anything needing to be replaced. $50 for about 20 minutes of adjusting to include pedal tightening. The guy wasn’t happy to be working on a bike that doesn’t cost thousands of dollars. Not sure why he wasn’t welcoming.
Idk if I can say ENOUGH good things about these guys.
Super knowledgeable, and they take care of me every time I bring them my bicycles. I have some fairly high $$$ value bicycles, and I will literally only take them to Green Lizard for service. I’ve had some really bad luck with other shops.
Decently not the right place to have a tasty coffee, but I right place to fix or have your new bike 🚴🏼
I’m headed back to indoor cycling locally and had always just borrowed shoes. But since I’m starting up again, I pulled out my pair of cycling shoes I bought years ago but never got around to wearing.
Since I already had shoes, I only needed a really small purchase, just some SPD cleats for clipping in at New Trail Cycling classes.
Green Lizard not only quickly found which cleats I needed based on where I’ll be cycling, they made sure my shoes could handle both kinds, and they installed them super quick on the spot too.
I’m looking forward to heading back to purchase a new pair of shoes as soon as I wear these ones out!
I came in telling them I wouldn’t be buying anything and just wanted to try a bike for sizing and I still got treated with respect and they made sure they answered every question I had. Excellent service!
Great community, awesome owners. I came in to see if they had a Garmin HRM-Pro, they did and even gave me a military discount. They support veterans and are a super rad community of athletes that want to get people on a bike, no matter the budget. Will be returning next time I’m in VA! Thanks GLC for the love! Keep pedalin’!

Best customer service, great shop for your bicycle needs. Great spot for a coffee and a snack.
The professionals in service REALLY know every kind of bicycle. They are certified by each part and frame manufacturer. And they stock the parts. It gives me the highest confidence that they will maintain and repair my bikes the right way.
I’m still processing all that I learned during my bike fitting. This is the most important thing I’ve done in my journey as a (for fitness and enjoyment) cyclist. It’s unreal. It felt like a master class on cycling. We also enjoyed some hot coffee coupled with conversations about life.
Always love to support local-especially a bike shop that has a good thing going in the community-we have spent thousands and thousands with them in the past. I want to give these guys 5 stars, because certain aspects of their service are awesome. However, I was looking to do a major groupset upgrade to one of our bikes, which they were very fast to respond to with a quote. I emailed back and forth numerous times with a mechanic at the shop, then heard nothing back. Followed up with a few emails, a separate email to the owner, and a call, but got radio silence back. I'm not sure if they weren't interested in my business or what, but it was disappointing. I took business elsewhere, which is a shame because I live minutes from there.
I rarely see myself in the shop, when I do, I need desperate help. The team here is awful. They will lie over the phone about pricing. When you get there, it's ALWAYS A DIFFERENT STORY. Do yourself a favor and go to bikelane instead.
Great Cafe otherwise, you have to get the latte art and the Italian Soda.
