Nothing has changed. I enjoy coming to this Grill Kabob. This restaurant is located in Herndon, VA, off of Elden Street. The owner is always attentive and friendly, so welcoming that you'd think you've known each other for years. When I visit this restaurant, I usually order the kobeeda Chicken combo platter. It's one of their signature dishes. The portions or platter is enough for two people easily, and the two different rice combinations are a great tasting variety in this platter. The food is cooked over a flaming grill, slowly and meticulously, and it's fun to watch them prepare this great tasting combo platter. However, if you want to tantalize your taste buds; ask for the spicy sauce, I think it's for the pita bread for dipping. Yet, admittedly, it adds so much flavor to the meats (that is) if you let it soak in a little. But that's just my humble opinion. Like I said, the pita bread that is oven baked and so soft that I use it to dip into the spicy sauce as well. The pita bread compliments the meal. I can't imagine anyone nor enjoy this particular dish. So if you have a hankering for Mediterranean food, definitely visit Grill Kabob because you won't be disappointed.

I got a chicken kabob today and it was raw, but the worse part of this experience was the attitude that the workers were showing me, as if was my fault that they didn’t cook the food enough, they were so disrespectful when I went after work to return the full plate of raw food, the lady slammed the food on the counter top and turned around and left and didn’t even say they were sorry or even a goodbye. Worse costumer service, never coming back again.

Got a gyro sandwich and gyro over rice. There was absolutely zero flavor in the meat. sauces aside, it was tasteless food. I don't know if this is a one off, it was my first time getting food from here.

Greasy rice, burnt chicken, awful overall taste. If I wanted garbage food I have a McDonalds a few blocks away. Never again.

I recently had a disappointing experience at your restaurant. One of the employees was very rude and inattentive. When I asked her for some bread, she was too busy with her phone to acknowledge me at first. When she finally did, she went to get the bread without washing her hands, which is both unhygienic and unprofessional. This behavior really impacted my experience, and I hope it can be addressed to improve service in the future.

Got takeout, and the employees were extremely rude. I was trying to ask about buying an extra side, and the one referred to me as a cabrón because I guess she thought I wanted it for free.
Stay away and go somewhere where people have some decency and respect. The food is not even good compared to other Grill Kabobs.

Whatever you do, DO NOT order a combo platter for lunch - it's too much food! I'm a big eater and I usually need more than the usual meal portion. The combo was too much food even for me. Service was perfectly pleasant. Food was good. I feel like the flavors were a little sweeter across the board than I'm used to with kabobs, but it was solid. Meats were grilled to perfection, of course.

Grill Kabob in Herndon exceeded my expectations with its delicious offerings. The beef and chicken were incredibly fresh and juicy, leaving my taste buds satisfied. The rice was a standout, bursting with amazing flavors, and the crispy bread was a delightful accompaniment. The assorted dips provided a flickering burst of taste, enhancing the overall experience. If you're in Herndon and craving delectable kabobs, Grill Kabob is a must-visit!

Been in the mood and since I had the best Gyro ever last week at Grill Kabob Express in Manassas, I thought I’d go back to the OG in Herndon. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as good as I’d remembered. The Gyro I got yesterday was not that great. I’m still not sure if the two are affiliated but the Gyro here in Herndon was $11.99 and the one in Manassas was $9.99. Here in Herndon my bread was prepared fresh and the meat was pulled from a chaffing dish in a steam well where it must have been sitting for hours because it was basically steamed. I’m used to the meat being freshly sliced right from the spit on to the sandwich. You have the nice char and some bits are crunchy because of the heat, while still flavorful and juicy. The steamed meat I got yesterday was bloated and almost mushy texture. The flavor was diluted and it was put on a bed of lettuce. There was like one piece of onion and zero tomato. I asked for the sauce on the side and I was given a squeeze bottle from the fridge that was so dirty and clogged, I had to clean it myself with napkins before any sauce would come out. The table I sat at was equally as dirty and I had to clean it myself which I don’t mind, however the place was empty. None of the tables appear to have been cleaned. I did come around 2:45 or so and clearly after the lunch rush, but still. I’m hoping this was just a one off bad day and not the current common practice here. I’m not sure I could go through this experience again after usually getting such a quality Gyro.
