i live so close to this place and discovered it very recently - what a hidden gem. the staff makes you feel at home and at ease, it’s like going to your extended family for a meal. the food is delicious, fresh, and nutritious; and wonderfully priced. my fiance and our families came to get dinner tonight and i think the owner (?) waited on us? she was so kind and funny and cared about serving us. i am continually impressed and WILL be back. thank you hama sushi family!🤎🤎🤎🤎

The best sushi in town! They have been open for 30years! Very authentic Japanese and Korean food. The fish is always fresh! Unlike some other restaurants they use old frozen fish that tastes like dry wood. I highly recommend their sushi combo deals !

We came in for dinner after a long day at the zoo. Our two kids, 4 and 1, were exhausted and my youngest was already crying when we arrived. Those ladies went above and beyond to make them happy while our food was being prepared. They offered small treats and even gave our baby extra tofu bites from the miso soup because he l9ves them so much.
Food was very fresh. Our boys shared a kids bento box and we shared a sushi combo plus miso soup. Would definitely visit again if in the area. They have a really cute banquet room for traditionally seated sushi dinners.

When we first got here it wasn’t super busy, but as the night went on more customers came. I ordered a shrimp tempura roll, a mango roll, two bowls of miso soup, and a salad. The servers were so kind and the place was cozy! The food was a lot more authentic than other sushi places I’ve went to. Everything was amazing.
I've been here three times (once before the pandemic, twice recently) and I'll definitely come here again for more great times. The food was great on both occasions, so I have no complaints whatsoever (though I wouldn't be considered a sushi snob by any means).
