Hyderabadi Biryani Pot

This was my first time ordering from this Indian takeaway, and unfortunately the entire experience was very disappointing. I am not Indian, but I am very familiar with good Indian food. I have eaten at both high-end and small local Indian restaurants, locally and while travelling.

This was, without exaggeration, the worst biryani I have had. The chicken was not cooked properly, and the flavour was anything but Indian. It lacked depth, spices, and authenticity.

I ended up eating only the naan, which was also disappointing. Tasteless and soggy rather than fresh and fluffy.

Overall, the food quality was very poor, and I would not recommend this place based on my experience.

Terrible experience! The staff at this Indian restaurant were unbelievably rude from the moment I walked in. Instead of welcoming customers, they acted like they were doing me a favor just by serving food. The attitude was unprofessional and disrespectful. On top of that, the food was not worth the price at all — bland, cold, and nothing like what real Indian food should taste like. I left feeling frustrated and disrespected. Never going back, and I do not recommend this place to anyone.

The food was terrible. The chicken was completely raw and not cooked at all. Very disappointing experience.

I really love their Chai and one time the place was shut altough online it said open. I was super disappointed. Today I went back just for the chai but the owner/ guy behind the counter said they are too busy with other things to make it. Finally he agreed to make it. I ordered chicken tika masala. The food was good but the owmer looked unhappy and had a bad attitude. Maybe because I am white and not Indian. I did not feel welcome. It was a different owner before and super friendly. So the whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth.

Ordered chicken tikka, mater paneer and aloo gobi. All had same gravy taste as I felt like same masala was used for all the items. The food was sweet and mater paneer had only few mater. Overall very disappointed by what I got.
On a positive note I did like there biryani’s in the past so for the future I will only order biryani from them IF I ever decide to order again.
Ona side note: use the note section if you want yogurt as it’s only free if you ask and also add notes for food to be mild or spicy.

I should have trusted the reviews. We ordered chicken dum biryani for takeout and I should say this is the second worst biryani I had after coming to America.

First experience of a late night biryani in the states and trust me the food was good. Don’t judge by the looks of the place, it’s too simple. By the second time i was disappointed with the service (weren’t flexible to customize) and it wasn’t very palatable unlike the first time. They should definitely add more main course vegetarian dishes and may be some good mocktails

We ordered biryani from this restaurant and were horrified to find a piece of metal wire from a scrubber in our food. This is not just negligence, it is a complete disregard for basic hygiene and customer safety. Consuming such contaminated food could lead to serious health issues and it’s shocking that a restaurant can operate with such carelessness.

This kind of incident shows a lack of proper quality control and cleanliness in the kitchen. We trusted this place for our meal and were met with this disgusting and hazardous experience. Avoid this restaurant if you value your health and well-being! The authorities should seriously look into this matter to prevent such dangerous incidents.

The reason for the 3-star rating is that they changed their Irani chai. I used to drive 35-40 minutes just for their Irani chai, but now they have changed it and it’s way too strong
