Update 9/5 2025: For the first time in a long time, I was served in timely and friendly way. The waitress was wonderful. She greeted me and sat me down within 30 seconds of arriving in the restaurant. She picked up on my cues that I was ready to order and ready for the check. Usually I wait an inordinate amount of time. The food was great. BTW, I judge IHOP, by IHOP standards. 5 stars doesn't mean this is the most amazing restaurant. It means for an IHOP, I had a 5 star experience. Keep it up guys!

The food is good and fresh, but the service lacks the friendliness and timeliness that I'm accustomed to. I like to see people who are excited to see you. Also, even with just a few people, it takes forever to get served.

This service is terrible, They don't have anyone at pick up area, and waitress inside see people at pick area, but they don't care about, they keep walking around, but they don't ask what we need. They don't care about pick up orders. In addition, they take longer to get orders ready.

The waiter kept reminding us that he was sick— which was weird. He also got upset if we ordered more food— which was always going to happen with a large group. Everything was great except for the waiter tho.

Went there today as the family was hungry and this place was close by. We have usually had a great experience at IHop but not this one.
The server didn't even wait for us to complete our order before sending it to the kitchen. We asked to change something (drinks we ordered) and the server was like oh, i already sent it to the kitchen. Mind you, we were in the middle of still ordering. We had to call his manager to get that resolved. We got nothing but attitude after that.
We ordered 3 kids menu meals for our 2 kids to maintain the harmony. He rudely pointed out that we have 2 kids, why are we ordering 3 kids menu before proceeding to tell us that the kids menu items are not for adults and just walking away. Again, mind you my wife and I spilt an order since we were not really hungry but we still ordered our own dish. We went there mostly for the kids since they like the mac and cheese over there.
We never order off the kids' menu for us. Its one thing if you catch someone eating off the kids' menu, but the audacity to tell us upfront.
Never going back to that place. a very humiliating experience.

This is my favorite IHOP, I drive in from Falls Church for a breakfast, lunch or dinner. Great food selection and AWESOME service.

This ihop was not up to muster. We arrived at 8am and were slow to be seated. We were the only people in the restaurant and there was confusion on where to sit our party of 8. The Host didn’t get enough menus or silverware and completely disappeared so one of us had to go up front to the empty host table to get it plus kids menus and crayons for our 3 children. While the food did arrive in a timely manner, some of us had to wait a very long time for side items like pancakes or the correct French toast order. Once the pancakes did arrive it was sent back because my husband found hair in it. Overall a very disappointing experience at this ihop. I hope they can improve their service.

Live 2 hours away. Thought we had found an excellent place to eat after driving back from picking up a family member at Dulles Airport. Stopped around 3:00 pm. Restaurant was clean, and food was delicious. Only one other customer there. However, the 4-5 servers were all on their cell phones, eating in the dining area and decorating. We never got served refills and no one came to our table during the time we were there. We had to call for additional coffee and water. When we asked for refills, someone else came over, not our server and she was annoyed that we asked for refills. After 20 minutes of finishing our food and no one coming to check on us, our server was getting ready to come over, but she received a face-time call and turned around and left, never making it to our table. Therefore we asked another server for our check and a takeout order and she went to find our server and we waited even more. We left a tip, but we won't be coming back.

Horrible the host which was guy with glasses he was rude. I asked him for some sanitary wipes. He said “What? What happen?” I said excuse me? That’s how you speak to your customers then a kind lady gave me the option to take the wipes from the wipes container they had. He was very rude and disrespectful to me.

Very bad experience in this branch. After 30 minutes of waiting the staff said order was not pinched due system error. I have waited an hour to get my breakfast. I don’t recommend this branch at all.
