Two weeks ago, I deleted my review. I wanted to give this restaurant a second chance, but I recommend that everyone in the area avoid going there. You have to wait too long for your food, and when you order something to go. Sometimes you have to wait 30 minutes. It's bad service. Do yourself a favor, don't eat there.

I hope this message finds its way to the owner of the local IHOP, as I believe there are some areas for improvement worth considering. This was our second visit to this location, and unfortunately, our experience did not meet expectations.
We encountered some challenges during our visit. After sitting down, we waited for about ten minutes without anyone coming to take our orders. I eventually had to raise my hand several times before a staff member approached us. While the young lady who assisted us was apologetic and helpful once she arrived, this initial delay was disappointing.
Furthermore, we were seated near the online order pickup area, and we overheard an unprofessional exchange between a staff member and a delivery driver. The way the employee handled the situation reflected poorly not only on the restaurant but could also affect future business since the driver may have connections to the community.
Positive word of mouth is essential for any restaurant, and experiences like these can impact customer perceptions and loyalty. I hope the management takes note of these concerns and considers ways to enhance staff training and customer service. Unfortunately, after this experience, we are likely to explore other dining options in the future. Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback.

Lots of dirty tables and the front of house workers just standing around talking. I was served my meal and then ignored. No one checked to see how everything was. I had to flag down someone to get a drink refill. I had to flag my server down to get my check. It took some time to be able to pay my bill.
The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. The service sucked.

IHOP is always a good place to go but on this visit it was a disaster. Service was poor and the food wasn't great.

Only went on 1 night whilst staying 1 night down the road. On arrival greeted with a smile seated straight away and was served ( didn't catch his name ) with courtesy and a smile. Food top notch has usual with I hop not too pushy and really enjoyed it.

I had a very disappointing experience at the IHOP in Herndon. The manager was extremely rude and dismissive when I politely inquired about the delay in our seating. We were told the wait time would be 30 minutes, but it ended up being over an hour with no updates or acknowledgment. The disrespectful attitude and poor communication made this experience frustrating and unpleasant. I strongly suggest the management prioritize better customer service and honesty with their patrons.

We have sat there with little kids for 45 minutes they served people who came after and sat after us and they prioritize their own regulars and we asked 5 timee nicley. Manager is very unprofessional

Best ihop I have ever been to. Amazingly clean and the atmosphere is outstanding. Additionally, everything you might need is already provided at your table and clean. I would love to congratulate the manager and staff for a very excellent job running this ihop.
