I really love this place for everything they provide food, drinks, atmosphere. But what the heck is up with the inconsistent pizza? One time its the best pizza around but three times ive had it now and it was horrible. Its like playing russian roulette

The atmosphere was nice. One big open clean area with an 80s/90s vibe. Long bar… The bartender was really nice. But the day I went, the place wasn’t busy and I only ordered one slice of pizza and it took forever. I think I finished my beer before I got my food. I wasn’t in a rush but I WAS hungry lol. When I got my food it wasn’t piping hot like I expected and it was about a 3/5. The beer was also about a 3/5. It was an ok experience but I won’t go out of my way to go again.Parking: You may have to walk a little if you cannot find street parking.

We really like the pizza with its sour dough crust and the fried brussel sprouts. Highly recommend. We already like Aslin's beer, so two thumbs up there. I like that you can sit outside and order to your table.

Probably a 3.5 if I could give half stars.Burger was good, fries were great. But the wings and pizza were pretty average (especially given the cost of the pizza). Is the burger $17 good? No, not really. But I haven't really adjusted to rising food costs, so grain of salt...It was busy and service was frenetic (could have used a few more staff, probably), but they did well considering the deck was stacked against them. And the kids running off to play/watch video games made it a more relaxing dinner for those with small children (8, 6, 3).I'd go back, but not because of the food.

From breakfast to dinner, I love this place! Pepperoni pizza was perfect. I enjoyed my coffee with a beautiful heart ❤️ on it ?

Got a cheese pizza to go and while I really liked the crust and cheese, the sauce was closer to a vodka sauce instead of standard tomato sauce - it was pretty sweet and unexpected. The brussel sprouts were good although maybe a little heavy handed with the vinegar for some.

I've been here for both breakfast and dinner. Love having a bagel/coffee/pizza place nearby with a good atmosphere! My boyfriend and I love Aslin beer so we were so excited to see this expansion. I personally think the pizza is very good (I see some real pizza snobs in the comments and if you're that picky about pizza, all I can say is I feel sorry for you), and so are their handhelds--especially the fried chicken sandwiches. I also enjoy their bagel sandwiches! The people who work there are all really nice as well.Small note but if you aren't a coffee drinker and you want a hot drink, this isn't for you. They do list some non coffee drinks like chai but struggle with having them in stock.I think mainly you have to know what you are getting. This isn't a restaurant with waiters. You order on your phone or at the bar, you get your own water/utensils, you generally bus your own table. Plenty of other places run on this model and it's fine. I do wish they would bring napkins out with your meal since we usually have to get up and grab those, but it's really not the biggest deal in the world. It's a great place to spend time and a nice fixture in the community. Highly recommend!

Really wanted to like this place as it’s a great concept… local brewery tap room, modern pub comfort food: Burgers, pizza, fries, etc in a fun space . Each element on its own was mediocre at best. Put it all together and you want it to work but it’s just blah. The pizza is average at best. The beer likewise, is nothing to write home about. Very fruit forward and otherwise basic IPAs. It’s no surprise that with all of the fruity beers the sours are the best. I tried to take some home for next week’s Super Bowl but was told they don’t fill growlers? The aesthetic and design is reminiscent of Brussels Beer Company, one of the best local breweries in the capital of beer, but don’t let the aesthetic fool you… The beer doesn’t come anywhere close. The restaurant itself is open concept with arcade games for kids. It should work, but it doesn’t. It’s first come first serve and not managed at all. This means you have to hover over tables hoping someone gets up and when they do, you pounce leaving other less fortunate souls out of luck. For a place that tries to be family friendly, it’s really chaotic. The arcade area is also not for the faint of heart as it’s pure pandemonium on a Saturday night with kids running amok unsupervised. The dining tables themselves were filthy and service is non-existent. Our food for a table of six came out with two forks. We asked for more but no one ever came back. We then went to the counter to ask for more and they directed us to the self-serve area which was cleaned out. Went back to the bar where I was told that if that was the case there weren’t any more forks available. In the restaurant. At all. So much for enjoying our Brussel sprouts and salad! The water cups in the self serve area looked like a dog had chewed on them and had outlived their life span. This place should be a slam dunk and gets by being one of the only options of its kind in this area. If you’re looking for pizza, go to a pizza place. If you’re craving a burger, go to a burger place. And if you’re craving a beer, go out to Bluemont. Or, go to Aslin and be disappointed by it all.

Went at 9:37pm, was told kitchen was closed and I couldn’t be served drinks. Why stay open then.

Why post hours if you don’t follow them? Why have a pizza place if you are going to stop serving pizza and hour and a half before you close?

Went to this place for lunch with a large group and had a very enjoyable time. Plenty of seating. Ordering was easy via their website. Appetizers came out quickly. Pizzas also came out in good time and were fresh and delicious. Buffalo chicken was good (appreciated that it still had a tomato sauce base) and everyone really liked the pepperoni and honey. Really liked the dough. Easy to close out tab.

I love coming to Izzi for breakfast. I usually see Devin (sorry if I spelled it wrong!) and Devin is by far the best person to see first thing in the morning. I always enjoy the warm smile and friendly conversations we have. The spicy salmon sandwich is to die for and I love the brown sugar latte. And give Devin a raise! They deserve it :)

I wish they would answer the phones and clearly state their kitchen hours.I call and call, no answer.I arrived (10pm) one hour before stated closing time (11pm) on Saturday, and they closed their entire space well before I arrived.Tonight I walked in 30min before stated closing time, and they stated that the kitchen closes at 8pm on Sundays and 9pm all other days.I just wish they would clearly state this on the website, and or here on Google Maps. And I wouldn’t be the jacka$$ that walks in expecting any service.Love the food! And when I got to eat here once, the service was excellent. But stars are removed for repeated hour changes without any updates to the website or here on Google maps.Parking: Very rough surface lot behind the restaurant. But ample space for finding parking.

I really don't like leaving bad reviews, however this place needs to step it up. Although the staff were really nice, the service was subpar as we only saw our server when she took our order. I feel it's ran more like a food court or food truck than a pizzeria. It was about 50% occupied and every table that was available was dirty. We took our 16-month with us and unfortunately they had no highchairs at all, so we ended up having to take turns eating while the other held our daughter. I thought the pizza was ok. The crust could've been a bit crispier and I definitely didn't like how sweet the sauce was. Not sure if I'll go back here again on my own or with my family, but definitely with friends or colleagues.
