Just stopped by while driving from MD to TN and got some sweets and savory stuff. Really tasty - I would say one of the best Indian sweet-shops I have ever tasted in this country. If you are living in ot visiting the DC area, this is a must try. 5 stars all the way!
During our stay In Virginia we happened to try this one. In a little corner, small place but the taste takes miles n memories to back home India. Taste was very nostalgic. Selling by weight would have been ideal as per piece I felt a little odd. Little pricey n the packing is pretty good. This gave us a Swagruha feeling n left meltingly delicious flavor in mouth. Cova Kajjakaya - best coconut treat I've ever had!
Kaja - just as good as Baklava!
Cova Peda - yum, fudge like (non-chocolate).
Muruku - I got a large bag to share with a group, a fun spicy crunchy fried snack, beats any chips.
