If you like little hole in the wall restaurants with a sparse atmosphere and just 5 or 6 tables, you will love Knossos. These are the best gyros I have had in the United States. The service was super friendly and done by the owner himself.
I ordered a lunch special with a gyro. It's the best gyro I've ever had. The pita was filled with a lot of gyro meat and less other fillings. I did takeout and when I arrived home, the fries were still warm and crispy. Highly recommended.

Since I recently discovered Knossos, I have been back twice. This small restaurant is tucked into an Eldon strip mall and would be easy to overlook. When I called in my order, I as impressed with the courtesy and ease of the process. The man took my order, read it back, gave me the price and told me when I could pick it up.
