Under new ownership :( I've been a loyal customer for two years, visiting every week. Unfortunately, the food quality has declined, especially the Jjamppong, which used to be excellent. I'm doubtful about returning again.

Until about a week ago, this place was fantastic. I'm not sure what happened—did they change ownership? Today, I ordered the Korean seafood noodle (Jjamppong) and noticed a significant decrease in the amount of seafood. It doesn't taste as good as it did before. The flavor is different, and not in a better way. There's way less seafood, fewer veggies, and it's more expensive. It's really disappointing.

Not a fan of this ktown's food compared to other H mart locations. I ordered a bibimbap like I normally do. A large bowl came out with COLD vegetables in it, in a side bowl was white rice and another smaller side dish a few pieces of kimchi and another yellow pickled vegetable. That was all. If that was my first experience with ktown I'd be content, but since I've been to others multiple times, it was a let down. Prices were the same but they did not include the small bowl of hot soup and side of dried seaweed that other locations have provided. I was turned off by the cold vegetables in the bowl instead of the normal bowl with rice and warm vegetables on top. Not thrilled to try this location again.

My friends and I stopped by the H Mart in Herndon to buy some groceries before our weekend trip. Conveniently, Ktown is inside this H Mart and we decided to eat our lunch here. Personally, we all were pretty dissatisfied with what we ordered.SOONDUBU - 11While it's cheap and affordable, I really did not enjoy this because it was way, way too salty. It probably had 2x more salt than I would have liked in my soup and practically inedible. This was a seafood soondubu which had several pieces of squid. I couldn't really taste the broth that well because the salt took up all my taste buds. I am not sure if there was an egg in here, but oh well. Overall, would highly not recommend if it's actually this salty.TANGSUYUK - 18My friends and I got this to share and the batter was a pale tan color, which meant it wasn't fried correctly. The batter was on the soggy side and it was pretty disappointing. The sweet and sour sauce didn't help it much. Not at all crispy or that flavorful, meh.My friends got the tonkatsu and spicy pork rice which they thought was very mid. I don't think I will be returning in the future, sorry.

This used to be our go to spot in Herndon for quick and great tasting Korean food in the area. However this was when the place just opened and an old grandma and grandpa ran the show in the kitchen. I think the ownership changed and so did the food quality. Everything now is super bland and extremely watered down. Even the meat dishes had this funky taste to it. If you want authentic Korean food, take my word for it and avoid this spot.

We were regulars until tonight. The portion of seafood in jaengban Jjajang we always get for my kids has gotten smaller each week. I was okay with that because I see that happening in any restaurant due to “inflation”. But today was a different story. It had this “sour” taste which you get from jjajang gone bad. No I’m dealing with two kids who have started showing symptoms of stomach bug. Never again!

Really didn’t want to have to make this review, since it was previously one of my favorite spots to get Korean food at a reasonable price. However I ordered takeout from them today and found not one, but TWO HAIRS in my food. Had to throw it away after two bites. This was extremely disappointing and unfortunately I will not be purchasing from them again. Below are the pictures of the hairs after I removed them from the Bulgogi.

Our go to local spot for Seollangtang, delicious food and great prices. Food is tasty, comes out quick but their hours are a bit wonky - but worth it for the price.

Good portion sizes, and standard options. Food was great and entrees came with side of rice, kimchi, and pickled radish.

Worse Korean Food ever. We walked out still in disbelief about what we just ate and why didn't we throw the bowls back to the cook. We ordered two soups: Beef Soup & Fish Soup ..both bowls used spoiled ingredients (Stinky & bland beef bone, one spoiled shrimp, no taste spoiled fish (not COD fish as advertised)..these food should be thrown away..the dog wouldn't eat them. I have eaten many Korean places but this food court is the worse we have ever experienced..how in the world that they got all the ratings? I felt completely cheated.Korean culture would never sell spoiled food to customers this way...totally angry and disappointed.

This is not a review. For facts the previous chef and owner moved to "Gom Soon Ah" inside of Lotte Plaza Chantilly. Trust me or see for yourself.

I ordered JJAMP PONG today. I asked for spicy but it was less than I expected. However this is closest Korean restaurant to great falls. These are old pricing. Needs to be updated.

In this year of high inflation, prices are really resilient.Black bean noodles are a lot and taste great. However, the unfortunate thing is that it is a little salty, so if you improve this part a little, the business will be better.

We love coming here! It's great value and delicious. We haven't tried a dish here that we didn't like. The cashier is the best, we really should know her name by now since we visit so often. She's always so friendly and helpful when we need help navigating the menu. She'll give you recommendations and descriptions which is so nice to someone who isn't familiar with Korean Food.We love coming here because it's so casual and relaxed. We know that when we come here, we'll head home feeling warm with our bellies full and smiles on our faces. Our faves: Donkatsu, Budaejigae which is Army Stew, Jjajangmyeon with Tangsuyuk (a must try combo), Jjampong and Griiled Fish. We love how everything has side dishes, it's just so fun.
