Nice place, service great, good variety of beers/beverages (on tap and in cans/bottles), along with liquor. Did not eat this trip but I know the food is excellent.

Let's start with the layout. Mediterranean Breeze spans two adjacent buildings. In between is a breezeway entrance, which may explain the restaurant's name. To your left is a non-descript pizzeria with a few tables plus the main kitchen, which you pass by to go upstairs or to use the restrooms.

In the back is covered outside seating that faces Lynn Street. Upstairs are two seating areas: a private room above the kitchen and the main dining room and bar to the right.

Finally, there's the pub on the ground floor, back right, below the main dining room.

There is no rhyme nor reason to this hodgepodge layout and you definitely feel like each space is it's own establishment.

We ate in the private dining room with a party of 16 guests.

Service was great!!! We got greeted quickly with a warm welcome, and our drinks and food came to the table without delay. Kudos to the servers.

The food? Standard fare from burgers to pizza. While some in our party raved about the lasagna and the chicken and mushroom crepe, my fries were meh (DNF) and the Greek burger dry even though cooked medium rare.

Beer (SA Summer Ale) was flat, but I chalked that up to the pour from the tap and the walk from the bar.

Been here twice in four years; the first time for drinks outside.

If I were to go again, I would try a more popular menu item. Based on the Greek burger and fries, I'm not eager to go back.

First off, when I was living in Herndon, I passed by this place a million times and never knew it was here cause it’s tucked away in the back of old town, but let me tell you this place is a hidden gem. Not much staff, but the bartender is super cool and the weekend deals are great as well as weekly specials. It’s small, but cozy with over 25 beers on tap and a really diverse food menu. You wouldn’t guess it but the Chili here is a “mom’s homemade beanless” style which is the absolute best I’ve ever had and didn’t even need sour cream! Would make the best topping for a chili dog! I just stopped in for a quick bite this time but I will be back to try more things on the menu because everything is VERY REASONABLY PRICED, which is huge with inflation these days. Def worth a visit if you find yourself in the area the foods better than jimmys old town tavern, Sullys pour house, and Aslin/Izzi pizza right down the street.

Came here for a late night dinner after the kids had a school dance. They had trivia night so there was no seating, but they opened an area for us in an unused part of the dining room. Food was good, service was better

2025 update - 4.5/5 stands, still excellent. I'm always impressed how good the service is no matter how busy they get. 4.5/5 Multiple visits 2021- present. It's a shame we didn't discover this place sooner. It's kind of tucked away on the upper level of what appears to be just a standard issue take out pizza spot. But walk on in, past the front counter and up the stairs on your right and you'll find a nice little sports bar/restaurant. The pizza is excellent and reasonably priced. The service is always excellent even when it's quite crowded and there are only the two bar tenders serving. Don't worry about parking as there's a municipal lot right down the road that you can usually find a spot. If you haven't been before, I suggest you stop by.

The first time back in 25+ years. Had the Chicken Souvlaki platter and it was excellent as I remember it. Got there shortly after they opened and was in the upstairs. This place is more of a bar then a restaurant or that's the feel that I got. That's not a bad thing since there were clearly several regulars that the bartender didn't even have to ask what they were drinking. Looking forward to going back.

Best pizza and wings in the area, but don't be in a hurry because you'll have time to enjoy a cider before your food arrives.
