Updated review:
We have been eating at this place since 2021. While the taste of the Hyderabadi dum biryani still remains the same under the new banner, a lot other things have changed.
- Portion size has gone down. At one point, they offered a whole boiled egg, then, it became half a boiled egg. Now, there’s no boiled egg under the guise of allergy.
- Price has been increased.
- Please get rid of the convenience fee for ordering inside the restaurant. We have been paying this since 2021 and I did not say anything, but it is a little ridiculous.
- Please go back to your self service method. There’s no point tipping for service when one person is manning the whole place.

We love a good Hyderabadi Dum Biryani and we’re always trying them in many locations… this is the closest thing to an authentic Hyderabadi Dum Biryani you will find in NoVA!!
The portion size is a great value for money as it ends up being atleast 2 meals for my family. The medium spice level is perfect for my inter ethnic family.
We’ve never had any trouble finding parking on the street right outside the restaurant on Sundays.
Service is encouraged to be self-service but the staff is very courteous and always willing to help if you need anything.
As foodies, we’re always trying a new restaurant every weekend but we just can’t help coming back to Paradise as frequently as we can.
* Menu/website pics don't match reality...AT ALL. Expect Paper plates, plastic cups...etc. Definately, a type of false advertising.
* My wife would refill water and provide other services because our waitor was MIA. Note, restaurant was empty while we dined.
* Food was decent.

I had an outstanding experience thanks to Ram, the service representative at Paradise Biryani Point. From the moment I walked in, Ram greeted me with genuine warmth and professionalism. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect—from guiding me through the menu to checking in at just the right times without being intrusive.

Nandini and Surendra gave us outstanding service and care. My 8 year old enjoyed his Sunday lunch with awesome chicken dum biryani and chilli chicken. The irani chai was added pleasure

The food we ordered on 11/10/25 was suddenly of much worse quality and flavor than it normally is. The butter paneer had a very oily flavor and the malai kofta was completely white with a different texture and flavor of the dumplings, much worse than usual. The naan was also smaller than before and very dry. I don't know what happened, this was our favorite place but suddenly the food was really not good.
Attached is a photo of the malai kofta that I used to get from them from their website and a photo of what I got last night
Delicious 😋

Hello yesterday I came this restaurant when I pickup my Frind from IAD.. we ordered chicken boneless and chicken dum and chicken boneless. . This is the worse food I have ever had.. chicken is very very saggi.
No wonder this restaurant no customer on Saturday Night.
Rice is not cooked also . Our stomach god upset after we came home…

I read excellent reviews of this restaurant on line, so we decided to check it out. I had already checked their menu on line and targeted a few items to try, but it turned out that the actual menu was much smaller and didn't have many of the items from their online menu. Also, the restaurant name has changed to Royal Biryani .. so perhaps there is new management. Anyway, food was just average. The sever was very nice and helpful. We are not planning to go back to this place.

Paradise is my go-to restaurant — always love their food! The quality, taste, and authenticity are consistently excellent. I appreciate how they've maintained the same great taste over time. The ambiance is also very good and makes each visit enjoyable. Thank you, Paradise, for making our souls happy!
